I love it. As a PVP player, it had improved my ability to get useful Exotics by A LOT. What exactly is your complaint?
-
I read that as 'Erotic' engram focusing.. I liked where it was going.
-
I just dismantle the engrams now. They fill up my inventory and its annoying. Fishing gave better rolls. Not worth the cost of focusing.

Same tactics they use in casinos. Bungie is not your friend. They don't like you. They want your money, and your loyalty to continously play Destiny 18 hours a day. If you think this feedback matters to them, then LOL

All new features are and will always be crap Why? Because masochist morons like this always hijack the voice of d2 community
Then don't do it.
Anything else would considered as overdelivery.
-
Garbage. Did it once. Never again.

Total Crap. Wasting good resources . The Foetracer helm I got years ago has better stats than the 3 that I focused, 9 ascendant shards wasted. an awful lot of crap stats on all the vendors armor , once in a while i will get a 67 stat piece but other than that it is mostly low 50s to mid 50s

1 ReplyYep its -blam!- as are the rolls usually when you get one from anywhere in the game. It completely discourages build crafting
-
Then don't do it. Exotic engrams are dropping from weekly vendor Playlists plus occasionally from other activities. Basically I am never short of them. From experience I can tell it's way more efficient to decrypt them at Rahool and let RNG work for you than wasting resources and "luck" for focusing. Imho.
-
Exotics after forsaken are hard capped, before forsaken exotics get the good stats
-
My main issue with it is the exotics from the current season are never an option for focusing, even if you obtain them. ie the moth gauntlets, I got an absolute -blam!- roll.. can't do anything about it because it's not in the focus table
-
2 RepliesEngram focusing has always been a complete crapshoot and given the cost to do an Exotic engram, is not worth it.
-
I like it but wish it was a bit more “immersive” in the sense that I’d like to have more general stat distribution options. Also the price amounts don’t make sense to me, given the way you usually have to obtain Exotic Cyphers but that’s not as big of a deal. My bigger problem with it, is that it makes Xur even more pointless. I feel like he needs to become the cheap Ascendant Shard and Deep Sight Harmonizer vendor or maybe he sells old red borders? I don’t know. Regardless, he’s definitely losing his purpose.

4 RepliesI have used it a handful of times. It's the only focusing option that completely ignores your equipped ghost mod, like Recovery Armorer, despite what it explicitly says on the screen. Most times, it gives me low stat or incorrectly focused junk. Occasionally though, it has spit out a beefy stat monster. If you have materials to spare, it may be worth dumping a few more into it.

Shouldn't take exotic ciphers to focus specific Exotics, should just take a golf ball at most and 230k Gkimmer -
you expected anything else?
