Ever since the weekly update yesterday the game no longer loads for more than 1-2 seconds which it then automatically quits back to the console home screen, i'd take the constant error codes and contacting destiny servers over this cause i could at least play the game but the game has been 100% down for 2 days now fix your game bungie this is ridiculous.

9 Replieswhelp the reinstall finally finished and it fixed the corrupted update that bungie released this last tuesday, that is so irritating that they would release something that they didn't fully check never thought the bungie crew would do something so irresponsible but they did

6 RepliesThis post got way more attention than it should have. It was clearly a bad install from the original post and an OP that was in denial. There were no other posts or replies with the same problem and a reinstall fixed it straight away. Sick of whining kids that are so quick to blame everyone else.

13 RepliesWhat kinda internet speed do you have that it takes you nearly a day to download a game? Also, you using wifi or wired connections?

1 ReplyThere a list of things that you can do to Jerry rig to stop it. Bungie can’t seam to stop fing up everyone’s -blam!-

1 ReplyRestart your console. Yesterday I kept getting bounced from the game on PS5. A number of different error codes. I restarted the console and it cleared up immediately. If that doesn’t work, consider clearing the cache on the machine. Instructions on how to do that can be found online.

5 RepliesLike a couple of people have stated, maybe try to uninstall/reinstall. It will take a while but there may have been a hiccup when you were downloading the update. I’m not defending Bungie what so ever but if you have tried power cycling your machine and clearing out your cache, you may want to try a reinstall. It may help with your issue. Also I would power cycle my network equipment, router/modem to make sure there is nothing acting a little screwy. It can happen if you have not power cycled it in a good while. If it is still having the issue after doing this and your other devices are working fine then I would start looking at if you have the option to install the game on an external and see if you still having the issue to rule out hard drive issue. Probably not but it would not hurt to rule it out. I know it’s a lot to read, but I just thought I would try and give some help. I have run into myself with another game I was playing a long time ago and I had to wind up sending my console in and having the hard drive replaced. I hope any of this may helps. Good luck. I hope you get it resolved quickly.
