Destiny vs Warframe
Took a massive break from Destiny and honestly the best decision ever. Destiny WAS fun back with its old crew, I wish we could get some answers as to why these new developers don’t care as much. You don’t have to say “oh we will do this” or “this will be the best DLC yet”, those actions say enough upon release.
I’m sure I’ll probably come back again but to just realize how boring it is and how there is nothing to do after 2 weeks of a new DLC.
Now, what got me to stop Destiny completely and be happy is Warframe. What a majestical game, an actual free to play game that doesn’t make you spend any money what so ever. Granted, it is a game that takes so much time to craft and grind, BUT it’s free and you don’t need to spend real money.
You got a whole solar system to play. You have space combat, you have necramechs (just like Titanfall). Amazing story that doesn’t get vaulted. Although some items are “vaulted” you can still earn them via trading or grinding vaulted items to craft them. Nothing is taken from you.
Honestly I could go on, but I highly recommend Warframe if you are some who loves to grind and have something to do all the time. No game is perfect but Destiny is just dying and it’s not getting better but for some reason people are forcing it upon themselves to believe it’s some S tier game. It’s okay at best. The forums are flooded with issues and negativity, that when I read the forums, gives me even more of a reason to not return.

Destiny Releveling every single individual item in the game 6-7 times gets old Imagine if you had to level your golden gun to 30, then reset it back to 0, then farm xp back to 30, then reset it again and repeat it till you can put the mods you want on it That's on top of doing the same with your hunter, all 5 subclasses, and all your weapons, and your ghosts Blatant Hamster wheel/mobile mechanics Of course you can just by boosters with real money to ease your suffering -

1 ReplyI've played both games for a long time. I have 1000+ daily rewards logged into Warframe. I wish there were more games that have a good core game system. Destiny's fun to shoot stuff and Warframe has the best movement once you get used to it. A lot of games are trying to copy it, but good luck if you don't have a solid foundation.

6 RepliesHonestly Warframe is a game so horrible at onboarding new players it makes New Light look good. Duviri has at least offered an alternative, but the experience is still off putting. Legendary 3 speaking by the way, just in case anyone accuses me of being disingenuous. I love it (beside the unbearable Arcane grind) but it’s so difficult to get people into.

I've been playing Warframe for a while now and the really nice thing about it is knowing DE community doesn't have to deal with all the BS, literally BS that comes from this business on a regular basis that is pushed onto their community. All games have issues and always will, but how a business presents itself and how it deals with its community/game is where I stop and pay attention because constantly lying to your community/player base is just really stupid, and I can't stand compulsive liars. Your title says Destiny vs Waframe Knowing DE has offered a hell of a lot more than this business ever has in just about every aspect of a game. Waframe all the way 👍

2 RepliesI can go and play Destiny at any time and get right back into it. Warframe…not so much. I enjoyed it while I was playing it a few years ago, but it is not a game that feels comfortable to play after being away for a while. * I do agree about Destiny lacking content. It feels like it is on auto pilot. Started playing Starfield a week ago and haven’t been tempted to play Destiny. Though Destiny has been largely unplayable for a week anyway.

Yeah WF is insanely good. But something about it isn’t scratching that destiny itch. I can only play it in short bursts.

Then I tried playing again after The New War released, but I couldn't find the will to push past the necramech grind. I never could find anyone for railjack either, but admittedly, I could care less about railjack anyways. I've always put Destiny and Warframe on the same level of being "okay". Maybe it's me, but both are just mediocre in their own ways.
