Name change not working.
Hi all
Just recently come back to D2 after a few years. I wanted to change my Guardian1329 to my Username. I followed the steps to change my name, but when i save it Reverts back to Guardian 1329... Ive never changed it before so just wondering if anyone had any fixes or know as to why i cant change it (ive never changed it before.

For users who log in for the first time since the switch to 'Bungie Names', the Bungie Name is initially set to the profile name of the first account you log in with. If for any reason that name trips the name filter, you receive the default Guardian#XXXX name. If you try to use the name change and enter a name that also trips the filter, the system doesn't give any kind of feedback, it just refuses to go through. That would happen if you're entering the profile name that it rejected in the first place. I suspect your name is being rejected because the system thinks it is your real name, which is against code of conduct. You will need to pick something else - while experimenting with different names though, make sure you never press submit unless it is one you are happy with, as you only get one name change.

What names have you tried? if you're trying to make your Bungie name the same as your PSN name its very likely being stopped due to the personal info restriction with the filter
