I've tried contacting Bungie, but I haven't had a response yet, it's been nearly 2 and a half months.
Point is, I did a stupid and tried to cheat because I'm dumb as hell and have a skill issue.
Spoiler alert: they didn't work.
*They were colour aimbot's for anybody wondering*
I'm aware that I need to be punished for attempting to cheat, and I will gladly take a FAIR punishment.
From what seeking I've done, it seems like a first time offence gets you restricted from the game.
I got a permanent ban, for a first time offence, for something that didn't even work.
I'll gladly take being banned for the rest of the year if it means I can play with family and friends again.
How do I know it's Permanent? Trying to deactivate cross-save tells me ATM I'm banned for another, 182548 days or around 500 years.
I was stupid and emotional, and for the past 2 weeks leading up to this even all I was seeing was YouTube shorts about cheaters not getting banned, and I did my stupid like an idiot because I wasn't thinking right.
So I have to ask, Is this normal?
