Just wanted to share my feedback, but I'm pretty disappointed in the general response from Bungie to this glitch. I won't pretend to understand the difficulty in correcting for it, but embracing it by telling everyone to have fun was a bit too far.
I don't find this to be fun in the slightest. Every activity involving other people right now is infected with cheaters -- and yes, I understand it's a glitch that bungie has embraced for the time being, but it is 100% providing an unintended advantage; it's not an accidental occurence, but something that people are choosing to do with full intention that they are gaining an advantage.
LFG -- both across the community as well as in Fireteam Finder here on bungie.net -- is almost exclusively oriented towards cheaters at this time.
I sincerely hope that this will be addressed before Master Crota's End launches at reset, it would be a shame to ruin what was a fantastic reissue by allowing this kind of poor behavior to continue unfettered.

Conspiracy theories aside (and there are some based on the timing of all of this), it might be safe to assume they are truly baffled by this literal game breaking glitch. So I could see them calling it GGs and letting it be until they can resolve it. Hence why Bungie said “have at it” pretty much. We as players also have a reputation for complaining, and whining when there’s other beneficial bugs (infinite enchantment core glitches, Telesto, etc.) that ends up patched frame one. The doors for any, and all content is open for anyone. Everyone can go flawless, complete 15min GMs, complete 25-30min raids, 5min raid boss encounters for spoils, it’s all up for grabs. The fact they’re allowing the biggest glitch in Destiny to rock for approximately 4-1/2 days is unheard of. Dare I say they have obtained some “cool points” for this? There had to be some chad dad at Bungie that stepped in like “don’t worry about it, I’ll handle it. Let the kids have some fun”. The irony in all this is it’s magnifying a glaring truth, some of you on this fake morale high horse quite literally DON’T want to have fun. Because you probably don’t know how to. Double carrying in GMs for 2 seasons straight on Heart of Light + Sentinel is a feeling I can’t replicate in current D2. Or doing solo queue Trials for a year straight, while not dropping to the lower skill bracket. Most of you here don’t even consistently compete in high end pvp to even be complaining about this in the first place. Trials is 100% in the sh*thole, no debate there. Turning off my brain is a power I truly underestimated, and I must admit it’s not for me personally. I quite literally do not know how to do it. So I accepted this fact, and went on to do something else. On the flip side of that though, it was really funny to see the lower tier bracket of players carry me for a change with their new toys. I never thought I’d see the day when a .57-1.0KD blueberry would slay out so confidently, and not leave all the work in my hands like they usually do. However, like Tidus from Final Fantasy 10, unfortunately this dream must come to an end. I will truly miss what it’s like having cracked teammates in solo-queue Trials. Back to falling at the gates of the Lighthouse next week from poor matchmaking. With that said, all that’s left to complain about is pve. Are we really here complaining about people exploding all over champions and bosses? And you get upset because chunky Hive thing explodes in 2 shots, and you get some rewards for it? If not, then I really don’t know what the fuss is about. If you’re a high skill bracket Trials/Comp player, and you’re getting cooked by average players (because we ALL are) then wait until Igneous is back in rotation. 2 more days won’t kill you. You’ll be back to griefing, running stacked teams so you don’t have to actually try, and completely oppressing the enemy team to fill the void in yourself. Other than that, if you’re mad over guardians becoming Mobile Suit Gundams in pve then… yeah there might be no hope for you.
