Pureheart Exotic Heavy Arc Sword [i]A call to purity.[/i] It stood mounted in the ground, in a remote area of the Dark Forest. A shard of the Traveller. Not like any other shard however, this long, heavy shard sparkled and glowed a dull pure white with a shimmery long hilt. A unique weapon to behold. Guardians gathered to see the spectacle, even the Vanguard came to witness. Saint-14 stood on a rock and called out with his booming voice, “Come guardians, come test your might and see if you can claim this weapon. I would try myself but I do not want break it.” Guardians lined up to claim the weapon but to no avail. A few attempted to remove it energized with their supers, but all were met with rejection. Several hours passed. Zavala stood alone with his arms behind his back. The glow of the sword made his own face shimmer even more brilliantly. The Guardian approached from behind and planted themself to the left of Zavala. “What is it?” The Guardian said in a curious voice. “It’s a gift”, Zavala replied in a matter of fact. “The Speaker told tales of weapons such as this. Tales of how the Traveller would bestow them in times of great need.” “A need for what?” Zavala turned to face the Guardian. “A need for leadership, hope and courage. A need for purity. Someone [i]pure of heart.[/i] Go. See if you are the one the Traveller needs.” Zavala raised his hand facing the weapon. The Guardian marvelled at the sight of the weapon. The light it produced. The hum of power seeping from it. As the Guardian slowly strode towards it, the light of the weapon grew brighter. Arc tails begin to flicker and dance around the weapon. The Guardian reached their hand for the hilt, arc flowing brighter and harsher now. Finally their hand seemed to jump to the hilt and instantaneously a bolt of arc energy tore through the sky. Crashing into the weapon and the Guardian, destroying the earth and rock that had once encompassed the weapon in place. In that instance, nothing remained. Not the Guardian, not the weapon, only rock, smoke and scorched earth. Zavala gave a low chuckle and smirked towards the sky. He pulled a mid size dagger from his armour and unwrapped it from its leathery fabric. A pure white light shone brightly on his face once again as he revealed a weathered handle attached to a curved shard of the Traveller. In a low voice he whispered, ”..someone pure of heart…” [b]Pure Heart[/b] Heavy Arc Sword Shard of the Traveller A call to purity. Intrinsic Trait Arc Overload: A heavy front flip slam creates a pillar of arc damage that jolts enemies and causes defeated enemies to explode. Strong against 🌀 overload champions. Blessed Light: Multi kills drop a restorative light orb and an orb of power. Picking up restorative light orbs or orbs of power grant you small amounts of heavy ammo. Travellers Descent: Hold L+R triggers to open a connection to the traveller by lifting the sword in the air. Several lightning strikes strike your sword jolting enemies around you and also leaves an area of effect zone of arc damage. The longer you hold this position the bigger the aoe grows and the faster the lightning strikes become. Charge long enough to become energized with Arc energy allowing you to roam for 5 seconds with massive arc damage.
