The TWID...

After reading that absolute shlock of moronic changes it just makes me question who genuinely is working at Bungie and thinking these changes are great? To start with getting rid of Legendary Shards is something I was expecting but the way they are going about it and the reasons for doing it are so arbitrary and ridiculous as well as it being done in way that is a kick in the nuts to all existing players. Want to convert your surplus of them into something like cores, prisms or alloys? Good luck you locked out each day/week on buying them. Bungie doesn't even offer a way to spend at least most of them for some materials to compensate for a massive economy change. Then I read the focusing changes... my god whoever thought those engram costs were reasonable probably needs to be removed from working on Destiny. 5 engrams to focus one... ONE -blam!- GUN?!?!? From Nightfalls, Trials or even Iron Banner what are they smoking? 3 engrams for a single ritual weapon is also beyond stupid. The funny thing about the engram costs is that this was an issue not too long ago where the costs were just too much and Bungie tuned it down in response to feedback. Them making the same mistake twice in such a short time is quite frankly ludicrous if not intentionally spiteful or they really want those pats on the back when they somewhat step back on bad changes again. This is also all compounded by no Glimmer cap increase which again shows the ineptitude when there has been people asking for ages for a Glimmer cap increase and Bungie won't even do it when they are removing one of the core currencies of the game and increasing glimmer costs. Bungie is quickly turning into some senile old man with these changes and its just quite funny to witness to be honest.

Glimmer cap doesn’t need an increase. Primary source of glimmer is public events and takes about 2 hours to cap. Realistically don’t need more than 250k a week. That’s 2 hours of patrol a week and keeps patrol zones populated. The change is good. There’s zero reason people should have that many shards if they’re actually playing the game (spending them trying new things). I have 5000 hours and have never sat above 500 shards.
