Since the geniuses at this company insist on getting rid of shards but didn’t mention anything about raising the idiotic glimmer cap.

4 RepliesAll of us seasoned players who have been playing since launch across multiple platforms and accounts like my self are getting screwed. No exchange system for excess amounts of shards? Are you serious? Their too focused on making the game face roll for new lights instead of the people who have been around since d1 launch and that’s seriously messed up. I hope this bites them in the -blam!-.I hope the feedback is vicious enough to where they change their mind but let’s be real, they always get backlash and still go forth with the most stupidest ideas so I know it won’t. Let’s just cater to the people who don’t know what their doing other than us seasoned players…-blam!- us right. At least raise the glimmer cap or remove it period…smh -blam!- the Final Shape they may as well change the title to Final Straw cuz this could be it for most people. GG Bungie ✌️

Raise it to infinite

20 RepliesSerious questions: why? Do yall really struggle for glimmer? Or do you think the glimmer you miss out on cause you're capped is that much? I'm not for or against it being raised, just curious.
-
1 ReplyThat is not going to save anything. Them forcing glimmergains into the gameplay loop instead of allowing us to play what we want and use shards as backup-glimmer causes an immense timewaste no matter the glimmer cap.
-
1 Reply
Since the geniuses at this company insist on getting rid of shards but didn’t mention anything about raising the idiotic glimmer cap.
Apparently, they are increasing the glimmer and engram drop rates after all this feedback.
-
1 ReplyNah. If they raise the glimmer cap it will allow us to hoard glimmer and throw off the destiny economy and reduce playtime. Bungle wants us out there farming public events.
-
2 RepliesThey're also getting rid of your rewards without giving you anything in return. Stop giving them money and time.
-
2 RepliesBungie is learning marxism and how to be a red commie, skyrocket the prices and use overinflation demanding more work for less to no reward and at no benefit. It is not 'your' shards, it is 'our' shards. At least they haven't gone full blown Russian, yet.

Just get rid of glimmer
-
Raise my vault cap
-
PLEASEEEE! Is there a reason that’s not a thing already?
-
Bungie doesn’t listen to the community and they don’t browse these forums
-
Easy fix for this too. Put the limit to 999,999 .. for Season 23.. and let Shards be consumed for Glimmer for that whole season. Then its obviously gone with TFS release.
-
Glimmer should be capped at 1,000
-
I stated this back in August and heard nothing from any Bungie representative - https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/263214878/0/0

2 RepliesJust get rid of glimmer

9 RepliesWhat should it be raised to?
-
There should be no cap if they are removing shards otherwise tons of hours of currency earned in the form of shards will be thanos snapped away.
-
They need to get rid of the cost of glimmer for bounty. Especially Transmog bounty since they cost a ridiculous 10k a piece
-
1 ReplyEdited by DragonKnight901: 9/14/2023 8:24:29 PMThey will just raise the cost of using glimmer on items. We still lose.
-
2 RepliesI like less in game currency. Is glimmer capped to prevent exploit farming?
-
It will get raised after the shards are deleted. Because Bungie will chose to ‘listen’ to the feedback then.
-
Since the geniuses at this company insist on getting rid of shards but didn’t mention anything about raising the idiotic glimmer cap.
Yes raise it to 100.000
-
Why increase if we can have NO LIMITS?
-
5 Repliesbut if they raise glimmer cap how are they going to make more people grind public events?
