Please keep the change of granting energy on final blows to pvp only. Tripmine spam is one of my favorite builds in pve. While yes I it probably won’t hurt the build for add clearing but what makes it so good is its great boss dmg when I run out of heavy ammo and super energy since it doesn’t require kills now. Most ability spam builds now require kills to be effective (threadling spam is the only other one that requires hits instead of kills, which will get nerfed eventually). Just my two cents on the change.

Bungie: "We create these cool things in the game, then later down the road we decide we don't like them, and even though the players do, we're the devs and we win every time. We're changing them. By the way, enjoy not being able to edit your characters appearance at all, or change your username more than once. Should have made better choices the first time."

1 ReplyIt’s not a meta pve build so why even bother running it?

It is so sad we’re never gonna use them again. They’re not even nowhere near the level of starfire. This is a huge L. Making it easier and easier to feel detached

5 RepliesIt’s pve, you’ll still be able to spam it a ton. (Just not agaisnt bosses) The thing was OP IMO since it triggers scorch and it has very high damage as well as no fall off which gives it a ton of range+you get fastball on it and you’re not punished for having it pop too close to you. Fastball+no fall off+plus faster cooldown on kills+scorch+more range+more damage+longer lasting mine. That’s all still gonna be on it you’re just not getting energy back without kills.

Add it to the list of exotics no one is going to use anymore

7 RepliesKinda wish it gave two trip mine grenades again. Missed that back in D1

Yeah, they're really using a sledgehammer instead of a scalpel here. Suggested a couple seasons ago to make the energy on hit for combatants only

Seems obvious that the energy regen will be increased for kills :/

I already wasn’t a fan of the glass cannon nature of solar hunter for pve and this isn’t helping
