unlink/authenticate Steam account error
when i try to unlink / authenticate my steam account through bungie, i get an error.
i can log into it fine via steam itself
why?

To change or remove linked accounts: 1. Deactivate [url=http://www.bungie.net/crosssave]cross save[/url],[b] [i]doing so will trigger the 90 day cool down[/i][/b] While Cross Save is deactivated your characters and progress will only be playable on their originating platform 2.Sign in to Bungie.net with an account that you are keeping on the profile. [url=https://www.bungie.net/7/en/User/Account/AccountLinking]Remove the account[/url] you wish to remove or replace. You will be asked to authenticate the account being removed. 3. Link the new account 4. After the 90 days, reactivate cross save.
