I need to deactivate Cross Save, but cannot 'authenticate' the other accounts - they were compromised and I no longer have access to them, luckily my main had a diff password, my fault for using the same one on Epic, Steam and PS.
How do I deactivate cross save when I don't have access to these other accounts? When I go to deactivate, Bungie requires me to authenticate i.e. login to the other accounts, but as I said above, I don't have access to them, and reaching out to Epic, PS store, and Steam has resulted in nothing. I can't be the only one who has been screwed like this before, so I'm positive there has to be a real world solution other than 'sorry, take it up with the host account company'.

You cant deactivate it, and Bungie wont forcibly remove an account/deactivate cross-save. You'll need to regain access to all of the accounts to alter your cross-save setup
I forgot the login to one of my accounts linked for Cross Save. Destiny Player Support and Bungie cannot modify or remove accounts linked to Bungie.net profiles. To protect player privacy and data, you must be able to log in to any linked accounts to prove ownership prior to modifying your linked account. If you no longer have access to a linked account, you will need to reach out to the specific platform’s support for assistance with account recovery options.
https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049498031-Destiny-2-Cross-Save-Guide

3 RepliesTake it up with the host account company. That is "THE" only answer you get.

All accounts must be authenticated. If you are unable to authenticated them then you will will need to work with the platforms. If they can not help then your cross save is permanent.
