The core point of raid mods was to assist the player in completing raid mechanics and solve ammo famine. Currently however the Raid mods aren't so impressive that they warrant sacrificing your entire build to use.
In my experience raid armor drops currently have terrible stat distribution consistently. Stats in fact are so consistently bad that by the time a player got a god rolled raid armor set the mods would become redundant because of their level of mastery of that raid at the point
Personally I like that raid mods are unique to raid armor, but the state of raid armor drops makes it to where raid mods server no real purpose

Edited by Obscure Meme: 9/11/2023 1:52:16 PMMaster armour definitely needs to be artifice, right now that's objectively the best sets but only dungeons give them. Master Raids have almost zero point to them since the base versions of weapons are craftable

2 RepliesEdited by Hawpy: 9/11/2023 11:02:48 AMPerhaps make it so that armour from Master Raids can accept mods from any Raid. They already have stat focussing by week, it offers something that doesn't overlap with Artifice Armour from Dungeons and it's something potentially worthwhile enough to make people play Master Raids more than "do each challenge once and then never play it again".

3 RepliesPersonally, I'm okay with the idea of raid mods being available to be used in all armor - as I don't see the need or even a desire to use them outside of a contest mod situation - which they're not available for anyways. The current difficulty in endgame content is so laughably weak that there's no reason to run these mods, IMO. The other point to your post already exists. You can purchase high stat roll raid armor & focus the stats using spoils of conquest after the final encounter. Purchasing from the vender has a very high opportunity to drop 60+ armor rolls. I think the main issue in that department is the encounter drops. I think that any endgame content should have the standard that armor only drops at 60+ for encounter drops.

1 ReplyYou got your ghost focused wrong. That's why you are running into issues with dung and raid gears rolls. All my chars have triple 100s for all specs (except.strand) using seaonal tho, easy to do tbh. I am using popular builds/frags & aspects. I do have a few dung pieces but not much. And I'm a noob.

I keep getting anywhere between 56-59 stat rolled raid armor 😂
