Make necrochasm easier to get
The current oversoul drop rate is quiet literally hot trash. It takes 30 runs to get just one oversoul I don’t know why drop rate is so bad but why make a quest for the gun if the quest takes weeks to complete. I say either make the quest shorter or cut that part of quest entirely nobody should waste weeks of there life trying to get a nostalgic weapon it makes no sense.

7 RepliesNo. I lost sleep getting that gun on day one. It was an achievement. If you weren't able then you can still get it but it will and should take time. At least it isn't something that could require 60-70 clears of a raid to get it to finally drop, like how it was for Vex to drop for me.

If they are going to make it a quest, make it a -blam!- quest. If they are going to make it RNG, make it RNG. Don’t combine the two because this is absolutely the worst possible thing they could have done. I’m gonna do the title and I’ll be fine. The catalyst isn’t that big of a deal to me either. But I feel bad for people who just want the gun and aren’t going to do the raid seal.

As someone who has grinded triumphs and 18 completions for 16 oversouls I say no.

5 Repliesnot only is it low drop rate.also heard a rumor that if people did manage to clear it just above 48 hours they still got the necro as a reward for clearing it before 48 hours,but they used 50hours+ There is alot of unfair stuff happening on destiny, this RNG is just sad,oversouls should be a garanteed thing for clearing encounters and after u get 20 u need more for the catalyst that gives outlaw,like come on bungie,outlaw? it should be 5 oversouls for gun and 10 for catalyst. i have 4-5 clears and have 6 of those oversouls and some of them was from a triumph,many i raid with have over 10. but ive given up on this company,ive figured out when te game annoy me to much i just play something else.

1 ReplyAs someone who got the gun but am working on the catalyst I agree. The triumphs if you flawless only gives you 14 of the 35 needed. At this point the gun should have just been an RNG drop or make it like d1 where you needed the crux of crota to upgrade the edion ally to necro. Then either way it's RNG for one drop not 35.

Do all triumphs while doing at least 1 clear per week then the exotic is yours after 5 weeks at the latest. I feel like most players complaining are the ones that only do final boss raid clears which means only 2 of the essence triumphs can be earned.

2 RepliesThis is all.....a purposely done, time sink. Each season, they bring back vaulted things for us to chase, again. And then they make the chase worse by adding extra steps. For lack of content, and need to show the numbers are still "good". I play simply for fun now. It's better that way.

4 RepliesIts already easy to get. It just takes some time. Less time than doing a raid 3 times a week 100 times. At least here you are sure to get it pretty quickly. They actually made it one of the easiest raid/dungeon weapons to get in the history of destiny.

This literally took not even a week. 7 from triumphs 1 from launch weekend 1 from Tuesday and 11 from farming Ir Yut a couple hours a night. You’re over reacting. This way is ten times faster. You’re playing a raid in an mmo lol you expect everything to be handed to you.

Leave it to Bungie to "listen" to the community by not listening. Making the quest for a raid exotic require 20 exotic materials to drop from the raid isn't making it a quest exotic that doesn't require raid RNG.

3 RepliesThis ^, Bungie should make it a guaranteed to drop from every encounter across all characters for looted clears, And they should also increase the drop rate for non loot clears and make it easier to farm cuz not everyone have the time to play 3 hours + of Destiny 2 everyday cuz of work and school and it’s stupid when you have to farm a heavily rng resource with abysmal drop rate to get what is supposed to be a guaranteed raid exotic weapon because that's what's Exotic weapon quests are for and it isn’t meant to rely on horrible rng. And most people in here got work and school as well as other IRL commitments.
