All ready nerfed Kinetic Tremors on Showrunner because….? What? Something actually competed with Ikelos and The Immortal?
Guess I'll go back to using the latter. 😂.
Knee jerk nerf.

I mean it’s still decent in PvE. The stasis smg with target lock is the one that will be nerfed more I think

Edited by xbroggiex: 9/8/2023 2:24:40 PMWhat you just experienced is the Bungie Loot Release System™. Basically this is the first SMG with Kinetic Tremors and usually when Bungie does something like this the first version is usually pretty bad, this time however they accidentally let it slip through the cracks and had to nerf it because either it was too strong in PvP or they don't want people getting their hands on a strong kinetic SMG too early. Don't worry though give it a season or two and we'll have a craftable kinetic smg with enhanced kinetic tremors which might bring the amount of bullets down from 14 to 10 to proc which nullifies the nerf completely because powercreep.

1 ReplyIt's still extremely effective. The nerf didn't impact it that much. You just aren't triggering kinetic tremors on every single gun fight now. But l I'm definitely still triggering it, and showrunner still slaps.

2 RepliesAnother pvp nerf that hurts pve. It was admittedly a little too forgiving in pvp, but I truly do hate when fun pve stuff has to get nerfed to balance pvp. If i remember right, they mentioned changes to kinetic tremors on other weapons too...which makes me nervous they're going to nerf it on more weapons soon. Im really hoping they don't ruin it

1 ReplyDoes the nerf affect scouts? I have it on a Hung Jury that I like…

Edited by Amazinite: 9/8/2023 5:33:44 AMFor real. I was playing with a Kinetic Tremors Showrunner and 750s were still better than it before the nerf. Now there’s just zero reason to use Showrunner.

4 RepliesIt took 12 bullets to trigger Tremors before. It's now 14.

I'll stick with my Unending Temptest.
