Did Bungie quietly change the elements on year 1 weapons to static?
So me and my friend noticed our year 1 weapons that we kept locked in with different elements than the static one, have all reverted to the static element. For example my friend had 3 Martyrs Makes, 1 Arc, 1 Solar, and 1 Void, but now all 3 are just Arc. I don't think Bungie said anything about this, if it's a bug or if they quietly changed it under the rug. The only reason we held these guns was because they were different, but if this is intended then Bungie went back on their promise from when they locked them in with the element mod

Seems to have been with this season - had all 3 inaugurals switched to void

I've also noticed this change. I had a solar inaugural address (static roll is void) that stayed that way after the change. It's void now but still has a deprecated version of the solar mod.

3 RepliesYes, all year 1 elemental weapons were converted to a static element when they moved to the new system. That happened several years ago, and I believe was documented in the patch notes when it happened.
