FEEDBACK for FINAL SHAPE RAID DIFFICULTY.

I prefer day one experiences that cater towards the many rather than the few. A lot of elite players (largely players who play Destiny for a living) began discourse about how RoN was “too easy”, with many following suit. Completion on average still requires dedicated players and creates many great memories for those who completed their first day one (myself included). If the climax of Final Shape is in the raid, I’d rather more people complete it Day One rather than have it spoiled or only done by an extremely small minority of the player-base (less than 1%). Gatekeeping experiences to appease players who use it mostly for monitory gain, poorly serves the majority of the player-base. (I will not be replying to anyone in the forum as it is toxic, this is solely for Bungie (if they look here or not), I do not have Twitter or Reddit [& don’t want to get it] good day to you all & take care ✌️)

I think Crota was a very good day one experience, even though I just missed out on clearing Contest. The mechanics were a good challenge, particularly for Ir Yut. The combat could have been a bit more threatening, as most enemies still didn't pose a big threat - even Champions - but it would be fine if the next Raid had that same difficulty. Where I think a change needs to be made is boss HP. Most bosses on Contest mode will require you to use as many damage phases as you have available, which is fine. It's just really frustrating to be with a team that is able to execute that many phases and do damage with appropriate loadouts, but still fall short and not know where you can find that extra damage. Plus, some encounters will make Aeons and Cenotaph mandatory because of how scarce ammo drops are, and Bungie is typically against having one or two things be the only solution to a problem. A small reduction in boss HP would go a long way towards alleviating problems you can't do much about. For example, if Crota misses lots of attacks, your Wells and Bubbles survive a lot longer and you get more damage. If he hits them every time and they break very quickly, the whole damage phase is at risk, but you can't really plan around either of these happening.
