Are all pathetically under powered. especially against bosses and in end game content.
FIX THIS

3 RepliesA good portion of warlocks 'super damage' comes from additional sources in their kit. -Stacking void soul and a charged vortex grenade. You can throw multiple of these per damage phase. -Arc Soul for the whole team, and a spark of magnitude pulse grenade. -Sunbracers, Starfire protocol (it doesn't regen as fast, but stack it with ember of benevolence), rain of fire. -Stasis turrets add some, but the super is indeed lacking, even with the bonus damage exotic. -Prep threadlings before damage phase and regenerate them with thread of generation, stick them with unraveling melee. Broodweaver has the highest dps rotation in the game, and it just got buffed.

We have so much in our utility we’re it makes up for our super. Im okay with low damage supers and have a better utility kit any day.

13 RepliesChaos reach is on same par as a titans thundercrash in that if it wasn't for the exotic it would be meh....

2 RepliesBut your abilities and exotic synergy are pathetically overpowered.. I'd say it balances out.. Not to mention potentially the highest DPS rotation is strand Warlock..

Edited by Abyss: 9/5/2023 7:32:37 PMThe thing is that our damage supers are either chaos reach, which requires an exotic to extend its DURATION in order to do good damage, which can still easily be matched or outclassed by other exotic super combos such as thunder crash + falling star or star eaters with the Gathering storm super etc (If you play endgame content you know the list of exotics I'm referring to). The ONLY exception to this is Needlestorm, and while Strand on Warlock is still very powerful even after the suspend nerf, Base Needlestorm still PALES in comparison to things like Gathering Storm. We also have Nova bomb but it is still drastically underpowered compared to other options in our kit (well, Chaos Reach). The overall PROBLEM here is the TIME aspect of the situation, we are doing near equal amounts of damage, but require MORE TIME to do what a super in another class can do in 2 to 3 seconds set it, and then go to damage the boss with their weapons. THIS IS THE ISSUE and why most warlocks regulate themselves to support with div and carry extra wells. Because our supers that are meant FOR DAMAGE either take too long to do meaningful amounts of damage (Chaos reach with Geomags) or are half-baked blobs that barely do any damage (Nova Bomb's). While I have no qualms playing support, having the OPTION to be a powerful damage dealer is always nice to have on the table, especially if it does not take ten years for the super to run through it animation. Edit: Also just going to add here. Banner of war exists and while not as potent as a well of radiance, It has something that no warlock rift has, Mobility and incredible uptime, Im by no way saying nerf banner of war btw.

buff well

Here’s my idea for a buff for Voidwalker. Skull of Dire Ahamkara - add “Vortex Nova Bomb travels faster and does significantly increased direct impact damage. - basically just Lance from d1

Needlestorm has some insane damage but I agree, we need more dps supers or even a dps exotic augmenting nova to deal more damage etc
