So not to long ago I made the transition from PS4 to PC, while doing this cross save I was forced to make a new "BUNGIE" Name.
Which I did, However I did not expect the amount of mispronounciations that I have recieved by this name.
This has led me to start hating my gamertag and when I tried to change I'm being told you only get 1 name change?!
How do I contact Bungie for this since they apparently don't have a system where name changes are possible like Battlenet?
This has made me a lot more reluctant to play with other ppl knowing they're gonna butcher the name and call me all kinds of weird versions.
And how can they not have a system like that?
They would make bank just from that and it wouldn't be that hard to implement.

Hello there, Unfortunately at this time we are only able to change our Bungie Names once, regardless of if it was intentional, a typo, act of siblings, pets, or other errors… one shot is all we have.Unfortunately at this time we are only able to change our Bungie Names once, regardless of if it was intentional, a typo, act of siblings, pets, or other errors… one shot is all we have. Please see https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/7648312251284-Bungie-Name-Guide for more information. At this time, Bungie has not made any announcements of plans to allow further name changes.

1 ReplyYou would be better served moving your post to the Destiny forum and adding the 'Help' tag for a mentor to respond to. That said, they'll most likely tell you we only get the one tag change at this time and to watch for announcements from Bungie regarding future changes becoming available. The reason for this as I understand it is due to players picking stupid/inappropriate/offensive names, having them get reported by others, Bungie steps in to moderate and then gives them the 'Guardian#xxxx' treatment. Were we given more opportunities, the frequency of this would probably skyrocket, and if people were to pay for the changes and STILL chose names the shouldn't, they would undoubtedly gripe incessantly about how they were robbed.
