Scorn Crossbow...
LMFAO! The Scorn Crossbow is still brutal. 😨
Even with 100 Resilience and Void Resistance mods I'm getting random one-shots in the NF this week.
Now I remembered just how much I hate that thing...
I kind of think I want one as an exotic though. 😝

Remember Bungie in one of The State of The Game(s) stated, "we want Destiny to be somewhat challenging, but not getting one shot. Being one shot isn't challenging, it's just not fun" Here we are, though. Making an activity around a low difficulty, so making the ads more dense and hit hard to add difficulty. Then deciding -blam!- it, let's just make this seasonal activity we designed different than a strike, a Nightfall. And we are getting one shotted by Scorn and that God awful witch from the other type of battlegrounds, moon. You know. The witch that you have to hit with the spears to do damage and she does lightning strikes that travel through walls and one shots you before you can react to her balls of death.

One step forward, three steps back, bungie manages to rebreak fixed broken things that was patched a while ago Somehow anything bugged benefiting the enemy be it weapons, abilities, modifiers etc gets fixed whenever they feel like it.. but anything benefits the player and they will work even during weekends to fix it with the utmost haste (they fixed Necrochasm dropping post noncontest mode today,:onba Sunday, yet they tell us they don't work on weekends.. they lie)

2 RepliesHahahahah , do you now finally realize 100 resil is not gonna keep you alive ? I gilded conquerer for the 7th time last season and i did it all with 18 resil , i also would get one-shotted so what is the difference between your 100 resil and my 18 resil ? We both get one-shotted so instead of complaining just beware of your surroundings , place yourself where snipers cannot hit you , use your abilities and super , work together with teammates , bring a decent loadout and you will be fine !

1 ReplyThe reason things that they fixed are brutal again is because they screwed with our power in relation to enemies without actually properly balancing anything out. So previous non issues or fixed issues are now issues again and feel worse than before. Prveious things were such outliers you'd be annoyed but you knew it'd be fixed. But now everything behaves like that intentionally so the chances of it being changed are quite low since its not actually a "problem".

Hip fire shoots 3 slower, tracking discs that do less damage, but weaken targets (these get shot out like a pulse rifle). Perk 2: after getting a kill or weakening a target with this weapon, hold reload to turn “invisible” and gain high damage resistance (essentially the new warlock strand aspect, but simulating the ether trail thing that the scorn can do). Cannot interact with world objects while in this state. This state lasts for 5 seconds Catalyst: after exiting the invisibility, your next shot does increased damage if aiming down sights or applies volatile if hipfired.

100 resilience in a well with 2 banner titans next to me and i was getting melted but my teammates were tanking hits from everything, definitely a bit weird

6 RepliesPretty sure damage is bugged again. On 1 run i was getting 1 shot repeatedly but another only half my health went down and both loadouts were identical.

Scorn crossbow is basically a wyvern 4 bolt shot condensed into 1 faster bolt.

I agree we should not be getting 1 shot by this thing id love it as an exotic with its current op level of power balance out the bs we have been getting in tetms of "making the game challenging again" only about 5% want it hard
