Cross play query
Hi guys, looking for someone to explain how I can play on a different platform. I've bought all the DLC for D2 on Steam but want to go play on PS5 now as my mates are on there. I see there is a a way to do this but not fully sure how it works. If I start the transfer will all my save progress/characters etc transfer over to PS5? I take it all I have to do is buy the old DLC's and new DLC if I want all the additional content yeah?? Thanks in advance!

If you unlink your steam account and link your ps5, then swap back it’ll give you the dlc

1. Cross save allows you to ACCESS you chosen accounts save data but does not transfer anything. If you ever disable cross save you will only be able to access those characters on the account that they were created on. 2. Game and dlc licences as well as in game currency is controlled by the platform you bought it on not by Bungie so they do not transfer. Season passes and Dungeon keys are controlled by Bungie and are locked to the active characters on that account at time of purchase. This allows the pass and key to move with those characters to different platforms.
