PVE? It's okay. Not the greatest but duable. PVP? Absolute garbage as it takes half the super to kill another players.

Edited by SlingshotNerd: 8/31/2023 10:17:09 PMAs much as I love Stormcaller after all the buffs it got in PvE I have to agree whenever I play PvP the last choice I would ever think of running is Stormcaller. Stormcaller in PvP is like throwing 12v batteries at people: it barely shocks them, it doesn’t hurt that much, and it’s terrible at killing enemies and the supers are even worse. What’s more headache inducing than a hybrid 1’n’done roaming super that takes a millennium to delete one full HP Guardian in the crucible, and god forbid if they’re in their super because yo azz is grass after that.

Fist Of Havok

1 ReplyOh I see we are back to warlocks complaining because the super that was broke for over a year has never been restored to being broke again.
-
5 RepliesMaybe the super but Arclock is the best Arc subclass.
-
I'd say striker is tbh. It's the worst ad clear and the worst damage
-
It's terrible in pve too unless you run geomags.
-
I thought it kills pretty fast (when you hit them, of course).
-
It’s pretty easy to avoid yeah but I don’t think it’s a pvp super. Usually once I see “Chaos Reach” activated, I avoid other red markers on my radar unless I happen to be around when the super is activated.
-
Chaos reach is my favorite Warlock super, IDK what you're talking about. Try Geomags.
-
Edited by The Hermit IX: 8/31/2023 7:20:41 PMIt’s brilliant in PVE when using a Geomag build. If you think it’s just ok, I’d suggest researching a proper build. It’s twice as long and you can have your super every two minutes.
-
10 RepliesThen don't use it? Strange concept.
-
fist of havoc is definitely worse, chaos reach with geomag buff is kinda nuts
-
1 ReplyFist of Havoc might be worse.
-
I like Chaos Reach, its my go to warlock super, I even pick it over well if theres other warlocks (arc souls do be another reason) it also does fine damage these days since it got buffed a bit.
-
it takes half of the super only if you are really slow it takes only two ticks of dmg to kill a guardian even in his super it definitely deals more than the equivalent of 2 kills it all depends on how fast you can switch from targets to targets and how grouped people are in other words ; skill issue tbh
-
1 ReplyIt shouldn't take more than half the super to kill 1 person, if it does, this is a skill issue and not the supers fault. It MELTS in PvP and is a great shutdown super like Needle Storm is.
-
Gathering storm is at least as awful as chaos reach
-
Oh I disagree completely! I love chaos reach! It can pump out excellent damage, especially when paired with anarchy. The fact it can serve multiple purposes as well only adds to its utility.
-
3 RepliesThis is just grossly false. The best raid I play with (I have hundreds and hundreds of completions on my real account) uses Geomags, Choas, and Anarchy. He applies two Anarchy to Warpreist to do damage while he Choas Reaches. Since the change, he out damages rockets, Gjallarhorn, Grand Overture, Linears, etc. He also uses Wisper of the Worm with Catalyst on Oryx and got 6.8 mill the other day. Choas is good in PVE. In PVP, it is better than bursts like Blade Barrage and Gathering Storm as you can move around with it, covering a larger area or flat out, correcting your mistake when activating.
-
Try playing titan
-
sounds like a skill issue to me, half a super to kill someone lmao talking about exaggerating.
-
10 RepliesYou gotta hand it to Bungie, they want Warlocks to be the Solar class and they are doing everything in their power to make it a reality. Manifesting super hard.
-
Fun as hell in Gambit. Chaos Reach/ Geomag, Riptide/ Unexpected Resurgance/ Thunderlord, always amplified
-
1 ReplyWell one of them has got to be the weakest
-
2 Replies1/4 of the population is warlocks and there is nothing more to say
