Why aren't dungeon weapons craftable?

Most, if not every season for a while now has been coming with a new and reprised set, some of those reprisals have been craftable, and you're eventually going to let us craft all the raid weapons, so why not dungeons? And most weapons worth using that can't be crafted are easily farmable or have a way to get multiple perks (why I'm holding off on focusing a lot of Randy's and Unending Tempests until double valor where I'll grind 2-3 more resets). I see no logical reason why if someone wanted a god roll New Purpose for example that they'd need to keep farming Caiatl for a like a 1/8 or so chance to even get the weapon. You'll let us craft other comparable weapons and target farm most others worth using, so why not dungeon weapons? I wouldn't mind a weapon transmog system either if conflicting animations weren't an issue, but I believe it would be simpler to just let us craft, focus, or more reliably target farm these weapons, and considering all the god rolls we can craft or more reliably focus at vendors, what difference would it make? Especially when several reprised weapons are ultimately made better in more ways than one, look at Chattering Bone for one such example.

  • I think dungeons not being craftable are fine because the time investment for a dungeon is generally significantly less than a raid. Frankly I wish Artiface Armour had some form of crafting method though, because RNG for a god roll gun is one thing, but RNG for armour stats you want is a whole other ballgame lol

Ok But you will need 700 deepsights to unlock the pattern for one And the only intrinsics available should be take a knee and air assault

    • So you keep playing the dungeon. If it was craftable , you would stop asap when you got your patterns or used the harmoniser.

      • Because that's not Bungie's vision of dungeon loot. Ever since Avarice, this has been Bungie's vision of endgame loot: you get high stat armor (artifice) from dungeons, while you get good weapons (craftable and adept) from raids. And with how much Bungie sticks to a predictable formula, I don't see that changing anytime soon.

        • Make Eyasluna a craftable gun. Sure I have some decent rolls, but Austringer I can adjust for enhanced perks, making it the clearly better option.

            • It highlights the biggest issue with this game and that is the content is mostly terrible so once you get the exotic or can craft the weapons you never do it again and they want “replayability”.

            • If all the guns were craftable the community would see how shallow the game is. They can't keep you hooked on the gambling game if we could craft god rolls on everything.

              • This was a response to the community. Community wanted less crafting as it ruined rng god rolls bungie said they agreed and would decrease how many guns we'd be able to craft hence why places like Neomuna have a few weapons you can't craft.
