2 RepliesI think I’d have to choose Doom Eternal, mostly because of recency bias. It’s been a while since I’ve played both, but Doom Eternal was more recent so I remember it better. Plus it felt weird to play Doom 2016 after playing Eternal, with the stuff Eternal added in.

3 Replies2016 for sure. It's simple, has better level design, has the best soundtrack, and it didn't retcon nearly every aspect of the story like Eternal did.
