Vex strike force spawing rate or lack of
Sorry Do they not spawn anymore or are so rare you have to not sleep cause if yoy fo you miss it . What was bungie thinking oh yeah they added to this event but it doesn't spawn that offen at all good luck

Love the no helpfully replys here feeling the love . BTW lost sectors are on heads now . And for 2 am to.9 am is when the vex strike force spawned. So guess why I missed them that right I was asleep. Now just maybe they should spawn when almost the entire world will.be a asleep .

5 RepliesJust waiting for someone to say "use the app that tracks it and turn notifications on...". Reality: when I'm able to jump on, no incursion for 12 hours straight. When I'm out having dinner, walking my dog, visiting friends, sleeping, incursions happen every hour. Yeah, I don't think notifications are the "silver bullet" these "always online" folks think they are.

I ran the lost sector for the new exotics. Not sure if they buffed the drop rate but I got the titan arms first time and both the warlock and hunter arms on my second run each.

Aside from using Discord, there’s an account on Twitter that I follow for notifications. Completed three VSF events yesterday. And when Terminal overload is in the same area, that means there are no VSF events for 24 hours. It’s not perfect, but it is what it is. There were a total of six VSF events in the last 24 hours. I'm not even sure if I've even seen one of these mythical events. I'm never on Neomuna these days anyway so perhaps that explains it.

2 RepliesI hung around the area for 4 hours waiting for it to start and nothing even after seeing the alert. Went to sleep last night and two supposedly happened, reading the alert on Twitter saw that people complained it never happened. Bungie needs to fix this.

🤷♂️ I've only saw it spawn twice since beyond light dropped. First time it crashed my PS5 and the second time I got to complete it.

4 Repliesif the answer to this problem is "use the discord", boy, we have a HUGE problem. The discord server is a crutch, it will not resolve the problem and surely it's not how it was intented to play VSF. Rely on the discord just shows how incompetent is Bungie because the VSF event is (has been?) so annoyingly inconsistent. Also, people now wait for the VSF event because the "new toys", the new season's exotic. It seems the spawning of the event not only was nerfed, but we want it NOW because wait days for the lost sector rotation is BS and we actually don't have a guarantee drop of the exotic on completion (we do it on VSF). The result is artificially inflate players time because after we have the exotic on collections we don't need to do again lost sectors nor VSF. WELL, in face of all that was said, purplosely nerf (or just being "inconsistent" with) the vex event shows a lot how unrespectful is Bungie with their players. The problem is way bigger than just "use discord". We need new exotics as part of seasonal quest from Ikora, just like it's happening with some exotics to new light players. Problem solved.

We had two days in a row where the Terminal Overload event was in the same area as the vex incursion. When that happens the Vex incursion doesn't spawn so for two days there weren't any. Otherwise it usually pops up at least once every 5 hours or so but can be more often or even longer sometimes. There are discord servers if you look that will alert you when one is incoming but only with about 5 mins notice.

They are and aren’t at the same time. I was checking regularly the other day not a single one popped up. Then yesterday I think two almost back to back showed up. It’s like wtf dude just make them an every hour on the hour thing. They need to also just make it so it’ll still spawn even with that stupid horde mode event with the keys spawns in the vex incursion zone.

An entire Friday night without one spawning is garbage. They seem to mainly spawn when the least amount of people are playing. I don't understand this. Just make it a fixed rotation. It's crazy how many people are in the zone doing this when it spawns. It shows how much better this game is when they actually have good rewards. It's fun too being in the open world with a ton of people all knowing we're actually going to get a good reward. But no they'd rather have it go 12 hours without a single spawn ALL DAY/NIGHT on a Friday.

It’s cause bungo wanted everyone to bang their heads in lost sectors where it’s based on RNG rather than an easy drop from an activity. It prolongs time spent in game. Also it’s only available in the lost sectors a couple of times before raid day 1 so only “hard core” may have them prior to race.

2 Replies1 finally spawned maybe a week ago. I saw it on the map and dropped what I was doing and hightailed it to neomuna. It ended up being just me. I look around and I see one player off in his own world playing footsies with a few random vex, and 2 or 3 others hanging around where you spawn in with their thumbs in their a**. I tried it by myself, but was only able to kill one of the big muthas. There was one minute left on the clock and finally footsie boy shows up, and stands 20 feet away from my well. The event was completely wasted. Not sure whats worse, that or the piss poor spawn rate.

From what I can tell it generally happens once every 1-5 hours and disappears off the map after about 4 minutes (Despite the fact they can last 10)

Yeah, the event needs to be changed as a whole. It shouldn't be the way that it is. Exotics get added every season, and now we have so many RNG exotics that are in the loot pool that they should be easily farmable. VSF should be an on-demand activity like Terminal overload, but perhaps a little tougher than it currently is. We should also have something at a vendor that allows us to modify the loot pool a little bit so we aren't constantly rolling a 90-sided die.
