When it comes to warlocks having something strong in pvp it's gone in an instant. When it comes to Hunters and warlocks we have to deal with it for season after season.
Not advocating for broken abilities I'm saying broken things should get the same treatment no matter the class.

8 RepliesEdited by A Traffic Cone: 8/26/2023 3:45:45 PMFirst of all, it was 3 days. Record for fastest disabled is Point Contant Brace. Which didn't even release before it was disabled. And in second place is Radiant Dance Machines which lasted 18 hours. And I think Blight Ranger still has the time for longest disabled exotic being over 1 full season. Original OEM lasted over 6 months, which was accompanied by Striker Titan that could walk between multiple spawns and full heal with every kill which was another 6 months on top of that. When Renewal Grasps and Lorely came out IN THE SAME SEASON, Renewals were nerfed in a week while Lorely went for 3 months. Warlocks had HHSN for months before that got changed. Had OG Icuras Dash for months. Had Geomags for months.

Idk the eververse problem over winter break was record response in my eyes.

1 ReplyEdited by Bore: 8/27/2023 2:38:41 PMDuring the time shatterdive was at its strongest, the highest performing subclass was top tree dawn, which remained at the top longer than shatterdive evaded a nerf. Of course this isn’t all that relevant to the disabling of WeaveWalk since that’s due to a bug.

lol.....lies

Oh you poor thing. I hope you get through this terrible time in your life. Stay strong guardian.
-
You seem to forget they disabled grenade launchers immediately for a good while a season or two ago. It's nothing new. Every season something is broke and disabled. Last season it was ability mods. You'll be ok.

If void overshield was a slow charge like rift, barricades did less damage for walking through, antaeus were completely reworked and knockout required something more than constantly automatically proccing while just playing the game titans would be less dominant. Once all the PvE warlocks get their helmets, trials stats will return to almost the exact same as last season. I would think win rates are identical at the moment anyway.

3 RepliesIf titans are so busted then why don’t you use yours

It was disabled due to some glitch using glaives. Not cause it was good.
-
18 RepliesThe funny thing is, this was only broken because of the glaive thing... But it still takes 3 swings during which you come out of the weave... Meaning, a shotgun kills you... Also, don't let the green ghost straightline at you 🤔 Like sure, it shouldn't work this way but was it really that big of a deal? Meanwhile, Titans 😂

1 Replyyou wanna talk about that ? I had to put up with one eyed mask and Lunas Howl for the better part of almost a year and a half, whats worse, bungie allowed Xur the sell that exotic with "enhanced hand canon targeting" back then bungie does not know what theyre doing balancing wise
-
It wasn’t disabled because it was too good. It was disabled because of a bug allowing people to glaive melee out of weavewalk instantly. It also could be due to being able to pick up the spark in rift while using weavewalk. If bungie makes you drop the spark when initiating the grapple they sure didn’t intend for you to pick it up and casually walk to the enemies rift while eating all their bullets. There’s a difference between disabling something because it’s good and disabling something because it’s not working as intended.

Anteus Wards go swoooosh. They don't care...

This is why there is such distain for PVP players and the PVP game mode. They ruin everything for the entire community by taking new weapons or abilities and trying to figure a way to abuse them to gain an advantage. Now everyone has to suffer. A simple solution would be just to disable it in PVP only, thus the rest of the community won’t be effected.
-
4 RepliesThe only thing broken about weavewalk was its ability to grab the spark in rift, everything else about it is counterable.

So dramatic over somthing so logical.

4 RepliesThere is a difference between disabling something because its unbalanced and because its bugged. Shatterdive was way too strong, but it wasnt a bug. Warlock aspect is too strong AND bugged Thats different.
