Do something about the LFG "selling carry " services ads
Totally BS and relentless on D2 app.

2 RepliesGiven the number of advertising messages I get, on Bungie's own platform, and the fact that it hasn't stopped since coming back to Destiny, I would say Bungie must be getting a kickback of some sort.

6 RepliesThey can delete the posts off this forum, which they definitely should do, but they can't stop that process from occurring. It's not illegal, as long as there's no recov involved. If people are selling carries, not recovs, there's absolutely nothing anyone can do to stop them, whether we like it or not.It's not illegal and they'd have no way to prove any money ever changed hands if they decided to put it in the TOS.

They really ought to just log everyone out from the site and companion app and include a captcha upon fresh login. Literally anything would be better than them doing what equates to practically nothing right now.

I could easily believe that Bungie keeps them around because the Smurf accounts inflate the poor player count and they get a cut of the carries. With how Bungie has been so willing to sue others, they could easily go after those sites, especially if they do not have Bungie's permission to advertise a paid service here.

All you can really do is report them. With that being said, if they weren't making money they wouldn't be a thing so obviously somebody is buying this crap.

Always happens after you did a LFG, lots of times LFG's that dont start that you have left. Only did a couple of LFG's this season, and that was for Raid's. Season's before this i did allot of them, and got bombarded with the carrie spam. This season only one, but that is because i almost didnt use LFG.
