Not a single Stasis Artifact Perk AGAIN. What the hell is the point of this class?

Am I asking for the world by requesting a couple Artifact perks that interact with Stasis? I get that Strand is the new toy, but the Light subclasses ALWAYS have some new Artifact perk, while Stasis gets the cold shoulder (pun very much intended). If this is what we can expect in The Final Shape, where the new Dark Subclass is given all the love and affection while the other two classes wither and rot, then I am deeply disappointed in this Dev team. A simple solution would be to -blam!- some of the Strand Artifact perks into Dark Subclass Artifact perks. Example: The current Artifact perk "Conductive Cosmic Needle" increases Void and Arc ability damage against enemies debuffed by Strand. This would be changed to any Strand or Stasis debuff. Boom, easy. INB4 I know some smartass is going to chime in and say "Monochromatic Maestro will work with Stasis." Congratulations, bro, you proved me wrong by singling out a mod that gives you a 10% damage buff. Your cookie's in the mail.

    • It's probably a metrics thing. Not a lot of people have it fully unlocked, and remember they are making it way easier to with the next patch.

        If I was trying to predict what the developers was thinking.. they wanted the whole expansion to lean mainly towards Strand as the premiere dark class of the Expansion. Like how Beyond light centered Stasis. I would imagine that Final Shape would kick strand and Stasis to the side and hyper focus on the 3rd Darkness subclass. If that happened to be the case… then I really wish they correct that mindset ASAP because that’s ignorant as hell. Edit: Remember Focusing Lens? Stasis Affected targets amplified light based damage? That was so damn creative and never seen again.

      • I too was waiting for a Stasis (and Solar) artifact focus this season. Nice idea with shifting Strand focus to Darkness focused. Would have been neat to see it, especially with an ‘elemental’ orb that slows/freezes/shatters. Picturing a teammate throwing a snowball outside of the Dawning now…alas.

        Passive guard has been gone for over a year. I was really hoping for a sword/stasis artifact and what we are getting seems kinda mehh. That said, it seems that most perks are more focussed on gun play over anything else with lots of buffs and debuffs, whichis kinda interesting. I hope they can work together. The construction of the artifact is really weird as well, but it has been like that for a while. This season has arc, void and strand. I feel like half the choosable perks could be put in a single node (like subclass 1.0) If i run arc, i will always choose amplified, always choose thunderous resort, always choose lightning strikes twice and the other arc perks. We can mix and match perks, but in the end you're just choosing 1 of three sets. This season has elemental orbs void, arc or solar, but you will always choose one of them, so why not put them together in a single perk? There is 0 use for anyone to choose all three of them simultaniously, which is just bad design.

      • New orbs for everything but stasis is really funny to me. Maybe they’re trying to reuse the old elemental orb assets (I don’t actually remember what activity those were from, I think solstice?), and there wasn’t a stasis orb back then, so they haven’t made a new one. It’s really silly and goofy. Especially considering how bad solar orbs are probably going to be, sing as they probably won’t ignite, and any scorch less than an ignition is usually useless.
