Orbs of power rolling around the whole map
Dear Bungie,
This is a feedback from me regarding 'Orbs of power' since the last update regarding it. Now those orbs move so much on the playground i loos a lot of them since they rolling around the whole map, if you could resolve this would be great.

Orbs of Power have had their physics layer reworked, bringing them in line with pre-patch 7.1.0 behavior. They should no longer roll all over the place. Thank you Bungie for fixing this issue and appreciate everyone who upvoted and comment and post their own feedback.

1 ReplyScrew the physics, they don’t have to roll at all. Exotic engrams are round and they don’t roll, they stay where they drop. Orbs and ammo bricks moving anywhere is ridiculous. Love it when a rocket blast scatters bricks everywhere including off the map 🤦🏻♂️

2 RepliesThey literally run away from you... people think I'm joking, I'm not... there is some type of anomaly occurring since they added the attraction mod. I've seen them roll up inclines to get away from me, up & over cliffs. It really doesn't bother me, it might be a memory thing respective assets near the player... so on purpose & necessary, or it's a bug related to the attraction/pickup mechanic that was added. I've adapted to it.

1 ReplyThis has to be the stupidest design in Destiny history, and I’ve been playing since 2014. They did this because there’s a mod in the artifact that attracts orbs. Can you imagine the discussion in the meeting? “Hey, let’s put a mod in the artifact so orbs track.” “Great idea but we need to put an F1 engine in them so they race away at lightning speed. We don’t want it to be too easy.” “I like it let’s do it”. This was all followed by everyone doing the Dr Evil laugh.

Thank you for all[/quote] I agree, especially when you need that one or two orbs to get the super or increase damage resistance and watch it just roll right away and roll fast a hell too 😂.

The slightest gradient and if you aren't running arc and amplified it can be a real chase to gather them. Needs to change.

Since the beginning of Destiny their entire MO is silently nerf things that have solely benefited the players without acknowledging it at all, and never changing it back until the vocal negativity gets too loud. Slow the player down as much as possible and nerf any and every thing that gets them moving faster. The braindead addition of champions and all of the problems they introduced is a perfect example. The list is endless for the nerfs and it is downright pathetic rats defend them. "Oh thank you so much for spitting in my face and taking a dump on my shoes, please and thank you do some more because I can't accept the reality of sunk cost fallacy."

I did not know, until very recently, that weapons with shoot to loot can pick up orbs that way as well as ammo.

Super annoying, they also roll pretty fast

Orbs and ammo shouldn’t have normal physics, so painful watching them roll off the map.
