Keep my guardians when moving countries on PSN

For some reason, when you move to a new country, Sony does not allow you to move your PSN account with you. Your account is locked to the country you started it in, and all payment methods accepted by Sony for that account, including the payment for PS Plus, which allows you to play multiplayer Destiny, must also be from that country. When I moved recently to a new country, there were two suggestions to get around this - buy gift cards from your original country for everything (which can be a real pain) or simply add a new PSN account from your new country to your playstation. You can play all the games bought with your old account on your new account. The rub, unfortunately, is that my bungie.net account is tied to my old PSN account, not my new one. So, I can play with my guardians on my old account, but then no multiplayer because no PS Plus, or I can play multiplayer on my new account, but then I lose all the thousands of hours of play and am starting from scratch with new Guardians. Is there some way I have not thought of to associate my bungie.net account with my beloved Guardians to my new PSN account, so I can continue to play with my friends?
