Bought a physical copy of Destiny The Collection, so many years ago from GameStop! The code is expired, tried to redeem it but it says “The voucher code is incorrect or is no longer valid.”
Which obviously it is still valid since I never redeemed it! Tried to contact Sony customer support spent an entire month calling them four different occasions even spoke on the phone with a supervisor. The answer I got from them is they couldn’t help me with the code since I don’t have a receipt from so many years ago….. like I told them GameStop isn’t going to help since this game is so old & I purchased it brand new so many years ago. Sony, told me to contact Bungie but sadly there isn’t a customer support number or email so I’m subjected to typing this really long boring story…. Thanks to whomever reads this & can help me resolve this problem.

1 ReplyEdited by ADragonWithin: 8/11/2023 10:39:07 AMThat code was created, managed, and had its expiration date set by Sony. If Sony is unwilling to exchange it for a valid one that isn't expired, then there's nothing that can be done. Bungie will not give you the game and the DLC for free, so contacting Bungie would serve no real purpose other than making you more frustrated. The forums here are the front point of contact for general assistance such as the issue you're having, so you typed out your long story in the correct place for trying to receive help; unfortunately, though, the answer you're hoping for isn't the answer. Your only option at this point is to purchase it from the Playstation Digital Store on your console.

6 RepliesIf you wish to play that content you will have to purchase it at the online store. No one is going to give it to you for free 3 years after the fact.

1 ReplyIn gaming codes generally have a 1-3 year life span no matter the game generally its also on the code but is very small unless it faded which is possible. Unless the code was defective due to an issue rather than expiring nothing can be done by anyone.
