The free to play experience has been thoroughly gutted through the years with the removal of… any real experiences. And with bungie’s new ignoring of core playlists (namely the Crucible and Gambit) I think free to play players deserve at least some engaging, awesome content that they can try by themselves.
Additionally this would follow bungies “pattern” of giving old content to everyone.
And… for those who haven’t realized it yet… this would also make these missions accessible to everyone who hasn’t bought Lightfall and/or the latest seasons. And it also opens these missions up for people who ONLY own Lightfall and the latest seasons (just to clear that up)
To anyone wanting to comment “D2 shouldn’t be F2P to begin with”: I somewhat agree, but hey, since it is free to play… why not give them some cool stuff.

3 RepliesIt's basically extra incentive for newer players to buy old expansions. You can't buy old seasons. So you will have to purchase the expansion to which those missions are tied to. Bungie's greatest marketing trick, and one at which they are very skilled at, is making people think they do stuff for the players when in reality it's just to incentivize you to buy stuff you "missed".
