While Ignition Trigger is active, any Scorch/Ignite damage from Tommy's Matchbook is not inheriting its exotic Primary damage bonus against red bar combatants, nor is that damage being buffed by Ignition Trigger itself. The Scorch/Ignite damage is still inheriting Tommy's Matchbook as a weapon source however, just not the exotic Primary/Ignition Trigger damage buffs. I tested this in Sorrow's Harbor on the Moon by causing an Ignition with this weapon on a boss in the Altars of Sorrow event on a non-Solar subclass, with the Solar Siphon armor mod being the only active Orb of Power source. The Ignition successfully generated an Orb of Power from final blows on nearby adds next to the boss. EDIT: After some further testing, I have found that Scorch damage from Sunshot and Skyburner's Oath also does not benefit from the exotic Primary damage buff. This may be a problem with exotics in general.
