Epilepsy Warning is needed for "Stay Frosty"
Please remove this ugly muzzle flash...when firing. You already promised to repair this problem in the past. (update 7.1.0 - May 23, 2023)

But there’s also the question why you’d remain so hell bent on using specifically only THAT weapon. There’s at least two other stasis pulse rifles you could use. And it’d save you the hassle of shouting into the void

12 RepliesJust in general, they need better epilepsy safety or options to make the game safer for people with epilepsy. My gf loves this game, but she has epilepsy, so there's a lot of content we just can't play together because it risks giving her a seizure.

4 RepliesI'll never understand why they create stuff like this, remember that IB auto that had muzzle flash so bright you couldn't even see what was in front of you? They're either willingly ignorant, or don't have any sort of QC department.

2 RepliesThis. I don’t even have epilepsy but after they updated the muzzle flash for stasis weapons it’s become incredibly distracting and difficult to shoot through. This ruined one of my favorite guns… I don’t expect it’ll be fixed though until next Dawning when a YouTuber mentions it

Today I compared "Stay Frosty" with "Disparity" and "Herod-C". The last 2 mentioned don't have this problem... The muzzleflash on these is much less disturbing... and the FlashRadius is much smaller. (Hipfire and Ads Fire). "STAY Frosty" seems to have double the size of the MuzzleFlashAnimation. Maybe this could explain why the Animation looks so "square and blocky".

1 Replyit is crazy in gaming how not even 10 years ago the epilepsy in gaming was taken seriously and publishers actually cared about making their games playable for people who have epilepsy, i empathize. when ships warp into the atmosphere at the start of a Public Event, everything goes blurry leaving me having to rub my eyes in discomfort. every time. it is insane how much of this game wasn't playtested at all. in some strikes on throne world teleporting will flashbang you with a bright white screen, i find really hard on the eyes and i have to close my eyes early to anticipate the flashbang portal, or be rubing my eyes in discomfort. when the throne world strikes comes up i dip out of the playlist. i think muzzle flash on stasis guns should visually be no different from kinetic muzzle flash. that would be a good fix for all existing and future stasis guns, that way bungie doesn't have to keep back editing the muzzle flash every few months. just a few small things annoy me.
