Everyone here will be hyped as hell and have faith restored after the showcase in August and will likely buy the dlc and take yet another opportunity to complain...Or take yet another opportunity to publicly announce their retirement and/or divorce from Destiny 2 and Bungie... I hear the sentiment, and kinda agree...I've felt like this multiple times throughout the life of both D1 and D2. Even took a whole year + off playing D2 shortly after CoO released. But I've been around this pattern with the game multiple times, and the state of the forums, and YouTube. It'll be hype for Crota and Wrath, The Final Shape expansion, and presumably the final Light/Dark season and season finale...They split up what would have been the final content and that's why Lightfall and this year in general felt subpar. The meat and potatoes were in Lightfall before that big chunk became The Final Shape. Strand for example was supposedly going to be reserved for The Witch Queen dlc...So while that was getting praise, no one suspected anything negative about the 3.0 Light subclass overalls. Some peeps will leave, most just wanna vent and complain...Alot of you will be back. But you don't have to fund the Eververse or buy the premium editions. The lighter their pockets, the more they'll listen directly and the more transparent and eager to please us they'll be.
