State of the Game?...

This was such a letdown and honestly it's my fault for expecting anything from Bungie at this point. The game is at it's lowest point is the communities eyes and the closest thing we got to a "Win" was favoriting shaders and ornaments in the transmog section from this entire read. They bolstered how big this article was going to be but for what? "Stay tuned for August 22nd!!". Gambit is getting a reused map. Ritual playlist armor is too hard to keep up with apparently. And absolutely no acknowledgement of the apathy from the ENTIRE community. The state of the game should of looked like this in my eyes. Looking forward we understand and acknowledge some concerns about current Destiny 2 content so as we get closer to the future content, let's also look to the past. Starting at the beginning of The Final Shape, players will be able to choose what legacy content they have previously purchased to download as a separate experience still within destiny 2 as a whole. The Red War and Forsaken Campaign will be an optional download for those players who want to relive certain moments in destiny 2's early life (not a requirement for thoese who do not have the storage space). Legacy weapons that have been phased out from their respective seasons will not drop during your gameplay effort and world drops will reflect other current world drops. Old PvE game modes such as Forge and Infinite Forest activities will be implemented but not completely balanced at relaunch due to the dynamic shift in powercreep implemented from 2.0 subclass updates. You will be able to earn daily rewards but this is meant to be a fun alternative activity when you need a fresh change of pace from other ritual playlists. Moving into the PvP aspect of this we will be taking direct advice from community feedback by implementing a poll system tab to current questions we have with what the community would like to see implemented in Crucible activities. These include potential choices of "Reassessing what to look for in fair and balanced spawn locations" and "Minor map changes to fit current movement in the Destiny 2 sandbox " Alternatively we will also be adding a testing server specifically for all current dlc owners to fine tune minor things. Feedback is welcome on forums. Gambit needs some love.. and it's time Drifter got a co-host. Eris morn will be joining gambit as a means to implementing the Lucent hive in gambit. More gambit maps will be added throughout the new season with a strong influence on the weekly update to the story. And motes will no longer be stuck under the floor. Eververse has also been a huge source of concern for players recently so, as a bit of a nod to this, we are giving players back eververse bounties. This is not going to be a fully fledged bounty system. Players will be able to aquire 3 bounties once a week that each reward 75 bright dust and medium amount XP. We DO hear you... Thanks, love Bungo. This will never happen but I thought I'd share my ideas (:
