Vex Mythoclast should be able to stun champs
vex mythoclast is a really fun and rare weapon, that falls off in pve because it cant stun champs, its an auto rifle with a perk that can change it to a linear fusion, please give it anti-barrier or overload, we have enough innate unstoppable exotics, if you dont want to make the anti barrier seasonal auto rifle mod work on it, then give it innate anti-barrier or overload, please i wanna use it in pve bungie.

5 RepliesWhat if they added a seasonal mod that just affected all exotic weapons? For example, there would be a mod that's something like exotic antibarrier. So any exotic that wasn't "in season" would then be able to do antibarrier. The hierarchy could be something like this: intrinsic anti champ > weapon anti champ mods > exotic anti champ. So say we have auto rifle overload, but exotic barrier, all exotic autos will still be overload, rather than barrier. This would also open up the sandbox significantly and even heavy weapons would be antichamp.

Vex is a fusion rifle. The Artifact auto rifle anti barrier mod will never work with it:. It would be AMAZING if they gave it an intrinsic champion stun.

I was running it last season with the Rain of Fire Exotic for Warlock and it did some excellent work. If you can maintain Radiance, it's capable of piercing Barrier Champs.

1 ReplyBut yet most who ever play this game will never get that weapon . Bungie likes to put the goods in raids, in fact that's all they care about anymore. The rest of the game is just filler.

A ton of guns still need champion perks to them and Bungie is taking such a long time doing that like holy hell.

What you're actually wanting: The exotic perk to proc radiance. It's not an auto rifle and no amount of whining is going to get them to change that or let it get auto mods, so lets get some realistic solutions.

You can get easy Anti Barrier rounds on it via raident and if you're a Warlock then you know that you have no free will and are automatically forced to play Well of Radiance in everything

I too have been thinking about this. Anti-Barrier would be my preference. I reckon it could work nicely with the linear mode.

Rain of Fire gives it AB rounds. Love those booties. Also, secant filaments give it OL rounds when you're in an empowering rift.

1 ReplyThe Vex Mythoclast is easily my favorite and most used weapon. I think it is fantastic just the way that it is. I am good with them never buffing it so long as they never nerf it. On a warlock, pair it with Rain of Fire, then tool up the Solar subclass and armor mods, and it wrecks shop.

Have it do anti barrier if it stuns champions. Also have it only able to stun the champion in the linear shooting mode

Anti barrier is out, don't forget it bypasses all the AI shields. It would make the vex the best pve weapon in the game by a mile. They already said that the vex is never going to get buffed because it's already borderline op.
