Can we get a “Season of Overdelivery”’? Just one?
Maybe win back some player trust.
Give us the idea that you as a company are still invested in your own product.

1 ReplyI would prefer a season of no delivery and just fixing the game up. Take an actual break. I just think for the content these seasons are, we should have either shorter seasons and more of them or less seasons with more content.

If they can, they would have done it already years ago. But they can’t. They’re all out of creative ideas. Game is a mummy. It’s so dry it’s mummified! 🤣 Maybe they can bring back all the D1 raids and D1 strikes back into D2 and call it overdelivering.🤣 They can also bring back Rift while they’re at it. Oh wait… They already did that too! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!🤣 Absolutely nothing here but a shamble mess of shallowness!🤣

The execution of the narrative this year so far has been really awkward and bad. There are still annoyingly frustrating difficulty outliers. Loot access inconsistency from one activity to the next. Selective loot stinginess. Severe drop in direct communication. Dungeons not being updated like raids. Crucible being pretty ignored. Gambit being very ignored. The game just doesn’t feel good right now.

3 RepliesI think sessions need to be reduced in number period. They can't create something meaningful and refreshing with only a couple of months of work, and they especially can't keep the game fresh if alls they do is constantly demand you play it every week when theres never anything interesting to do. Taking personal breaks from this game doesn't even feel like it helps anymore because once you come back it's just the same nothing grind. I don't want them to over deliver, I want them to start delivering PERIOD.

I love this post, 100% agree, cant remember the last time i was really invested and satisfied with a destiny 2 delivery. I would say witch queen except for the seperate dungeon MTX kindof chapped my -blam!-.

1 ReplyHonestly man but let’s be real and realize Bungie won’t do that. Bungie is in the Biz to make money not to make a product that they play and it’s sorely obvious that they don’t play their own game anymore. All the good workers either left or is working on marathon or the other ip and destiny is a side burner project if that at this point. Don’t put anymore money into it and if you want to get something in the store use bright dust. Speak with your wallets since that is really what Bungie cares about. Personally taking a break from destiny to play eso (elder scrolls online for those who don’t know) and am loving it since their is always something to do and dungeons have actual rewards and mechanics to them instead on dunk mote here, stand there, shoot thing over there. Feels refreshing and hope Bungie will actually but that money they are getting into destiny before they have to sell their ip to make ends meet instead of pretending they are a fledgling company hiking prices up for less and less content to survive

What, you think one season of any changes or DLC will change any of this? The original devs are long gone from Bungie. All that is left, are woke, propaganda filled exerts of societal reconditioning that weak minded people keep buying up. It’s a brainwashed factory of no accountability and trash content. But hey, at least the Bungie loving fan boys can still take that Bungie loving D.

Bungie is beyond winning back player trust. They've done too much and it burns. The scars they have left will never heal. New players? Sure. They haven't been affected yet. But when they see the videos exposing Bungie, they hear about all the stuff Bungie has done to this game. The seeds of doubt will be planted.

1 ReplyYou could get a $100 season of killing dregs on the cosmodrome and you'd still buy it. You'd complain, think it's ridiculous and stupid. Threaten to quit, but ultimately, your addiction will win and you'll cave because you'll think you are missing out on something if you are locked out of specific content. You'll feel something isn't quite right unless you have the full Destiny experience.

I so much regret buying this year. I don’t care that next one marks the end of the saga. I’m done paying 100euros for 2h of actual fresh gameplay.
