So I spent today helping players in the LFG "Looking For Help". 4 outta the 5 kicked me from the fireteam. One kicked me because I struggled to carry him and his friend in the Legendary Witch Queen Campaign. " I took too long" was the comment, but here they were dying every 10-15 seconds. Then, my last match I was helping a dude on Legendary Nightfall. Just as the boss has a sliver of health left, me and the other guy helping him got kicked. His comment was "Lol". The other two LFG players who kicked me never replied to me, so I dunno. People today are just rotten. Makes me not want to help people anymore.

4 RepliesSadly there are lots of shitty people in the world. My advice would be to be fireteam lead where you can, talk to people before you help them to see how they react. I do a huge amount of help and very rarely get the toxicity - but sometimes still get ungrateful idiots who never even say thanks.

2 RepliesIt’s unfortunate that you (OP) ran into a handful of miscreants; a few bad apples, is all. I’ve met plenty of great Guardians in LFG ops.; not that I use it so much these days. If I get matched with to$$ers continuously acting the goat, eg, sword yeeting / sparrow ramming / icing tunnels or platforms / or just being general dikks - I either bounce or dish it out in spades…either way, the run soon ends. Ease springs! 👈 Cheers! 🫡

7 RepliesThe PVE community is extremely toxic Thankfully, the nice and helpful PVP community makes up for that

That’s a lousy experience for you. Personally, I’m grateful for any help I get.

Had the same the other day with gotd. I looked the guy up afterwards and he’s been doing it all day. Reported and moved on.

It started when the great unwashed were convinced it was cool to game. Now we have the feral youths that used to spend their time handing around strip malls and street corners playing video games...same thing happens when anything becomes popular. Edit spelling

If bad people in the world make you not want to help the good people then you're probably trying to help for the wrong reasons...

3 RepliesHonestly, the players that wants to get carried in a Legendary Campaign don’t deserve the rewards. They’re literally making the game harder for their selves than not sucking Solo

1 ReplyIf you are the fireteam leader, you cannot be kicked. Might help you from future headaches.
-
4 RepliesI would suggest creating your own group to prevent this.

2 RepliesI started 3 LFG for weekly mission last weekend. I didn’t get kicked from any of them.

4 RepliesI am taking a good break from the game and decided to play a bit a couple of months ago. There was a new strike I wasn’t familiar with. I was with 2 other ransoms. One died and I revived them then about 10 seconds later we had to enter a ventilation duct and they blocked my way with stasis in the duct. I mean I know it’s a joke but I just revived them and their gratitude is to stasis block with ‘f$&k you very much’. I mean do some people not understand what the acronym ‘coop’ means? They do…..they just don’t care.

I like getting friend requests just to have them immediately delete me right away! Had someone do that yesterday did I not talk to you fast enough? Was like oh cool people to play crucible with. I don’t get it. It’s a game people. Be nice for -blam!- sake.
