Where does this exotic even have value in a fameplay sense. In pve it is just subpar and is just worst then most of the roster of guns in the game and arguably a wasted exotic slot. In pvp scouts from what i know are pretty much outclassed by almost every other gun primarily based on all or mostly all of the maps being close quarters. That and the fact that they really only fit in a long range setting and will get outgunned by any other guns in other range groups. The catalyst is the worst part though with overflow. Its like the first ever d2 catalysts level of low quality and effort catalysts. Anyone who uses this thing in a non-ironic manner where exactly does this even fit in the d2 gameplay in this era of d2

Edited by THE GRIND IS REAL: 7/28/2023 12:09:52 PMBungie needed a reason to make another annoying exotic quest but make it extra annoying that requires a team knowing a small amount of player base will get it so less backlash from the community and no life streamers no matter how poop it could be

What is the purpose of a lot of exotics? We have too many that do too little… Personally, I’d much rather have WAY less exotics but have their perks do WAY more… even if that means we get exotics less frequently.
-
Could be strong if we get a Stasis surge next season for GMs!
-
Sell seasonal content make you spend money. Exotics sell seasonal content aka make money they have stated this years ago that’s why exotics are in the season pass upfront
-
I don’t know, mine is still in the postmaster from three weeks ago

I pair it with stasis warlock, I use iceflare bolts, shards wrathweavers. Fragments are bonds, rending, conduction and torment. The whole build works fairly well and I generally have fun having iceflare proc when the freeze from the scout procs. Also bungie confirmed they were going to buff it.

Probably for a non-meta sleeper Stasis build for weirdos whomst partake in being weird with the wackiest methods for things.
-
It is the dangle jangle lookie here shiny buffed up hot piece of wasteful junk. Not strong enough to eat up an exotic slot. Maybe one day.

a gun for champions for players that camp and play ultra ranged

6 RepliesIt's basically Primary Ammo Chill Clip: The Scout Rifle. Higher-end PvE content benefits more from it since without any anti-champ mods, it inherently stuns Overload and Unstop + the 40% minor combatant bonus so you can just plink away without much hassle. Was decently useful in some GMs where you face both. Frees up Special and Heavy for whatever else. PvP... eh. I haven't used it there yet, but it could be funny to smack someone with a slow debuff and watch them slowly wiggle away trying to not die. That's more of a meme. Feels like an experiment to me. Seeing if a Primary Ammo weapon with a stasis slow effect will break anything.

1 ReplyIt is great when we get anti barrier scout so mainly for nightfall pve content. Sure other weapons may be better, but it's an exotic after all. Just good enough for fun, if you want a better scout, have fun with rng.

Don’t be a hater. You get good materials from deleting it and it is one of the best looking junk weapons that take space in your vault. It is all positive when it comes to this piece of crap.

2 RepliesBungie already confirmed it was going to get some buffs. They were worried a stasis gun would be too strong....AGAIN.

For a subclass they just gutted, again lol
