If it isn’t crafted or adept it’s a dirty peasant weapon.
There’s no going back to the way things were with rng loot. Bungie might as well fully embrace the changes and make it all craftable. Forget looter shooter this game is now a blaster crafter. Just accept it.
Lots of comments about “already have the roll I want so screw the players that can’t get it” that’s boomer think and world has had enough of it. Time spent investing in a weapon you like is so much better than hitting a slot machine for years and never getting the roll you’re after. Don’t like crafting? It ruined the game? Never touch it and the game is literally the same as before.
I’m aware that there are a few peasant weapons out there that shine triumphant through the filth. Bungie will be making these weapons craftable or adept soon, or reskin them with a different name any day now. And you can bet suckers like me are going to chase them happily. It’s a reason to play, go have fun!

-Exotics. I won't bother listing all the good ones, but none are adept and most aren't craftable outside of Osteo, the pulse, and a bunch of trash (glaives). -Mercurial Overreach -Adored -Eyasluna -Mechabre -Matador -Rose -Retold Tale -Bottom Dollar -Riptide -I could go on if I needed to. There's plenty of great non-adept, not-craftable weapons people can use for any part of the game, not to mention many regular versions of adept weapons are still good and more than usable.

Did you know enhanced perks very marginally effect the perk , some enhancements don't even change the perks functionality, just adds a random stat bonus Look at how much damage the new dungeon bait and switch rocket does, it can't be crafted Enhanced is just window dressing -

1 ReplyI think the looter genre is tired and ready to retire, but I know that's not a popular opinion. I want to start a business where you have to pay too much to get in, then once you're in, I just throw a bunch of garbage at you. You never know, I might eventually throw a gold coin or a diamond at you, maybe I won't.

There’s a lot of weapons that aren’t craftable or adept that are brilliant. You just have to have the right roll. My crafted weapons are my favorites these days though. I did the grind to get the patterns, chose the exact rolls and then got to enhance perks. Grinding a 5 out 5 roll like I did with Forge weapons gave me the same type satisfaction.

This is a good point. My only issue is getting out of the ways I'm stuck in.. I have a number of crafted weapons I've just not invested enough time in yet. Need to get my bum moving

A lot of the craftable weapons are worse then the non craftable weapons 🤷♂️

1 ReplySomewhat, but there are many exceptions. Adaptive HCs are a good example. Eyasluna, Palindrome, and Exalted truth are all non-Craftable and considered best-in-class. Riptide’s utility destroys most other fusions for PvE with only Deliverance coming close. Liminal Vigil and Forgiveness are way above Empirical Evidence. While I do think Enhanced Perks were a mistake, there are lots of non-Craftable guns that make it into rotation

7 RepliesI just kind of stumbled -blam!- first into getting an Ambitious Assassin/Chain Reaction Forbearance. I've been having a blast with it. I know you can craft an enhanced version, but for what I do it works.
