Game shouldn't put a 30 min ban on you for trials or comp for leaving a team that you are clearly carrying I shouldn't have to sweat my -blam!- off to win 1 round and wipe the team over and over again just to be punished for having enough and backing out stop pairing me with below average players and give me some mid tier people !

4 RepliesBased off your stats you aren’t doing much contributions yourself and certainly not carrying anyone but go off for getting yourself suspended and making the game worse for your teammates.

So you want to be able to leave any game you start to lose to protect your win/loss ratio or Elo. Is that fair to the other players... no. This is poor sportsmanship to keep on leaving matches because you start to lose and not try to push harder to make a comeback. By leaving you leave the team a man down and guarantee a loss for them. It is also bad for the player which may the matchmaking system may bring in to replace you as they will be in a losing team that has struggled because of several minutes of being understregth.

You will carry…and you will like it!!

Or maybe don't leave games? We could always try that dear.

10 RepliesAh trials ! Seen a thousand of these posts and people still don’t learn ! Get a team 🙄
-
Don’t leave too often and you won’t get punished. I’ve left ~300 comp/trials matches but only got a 30min ban less than 10 times.

boo that man

I mean I get the pain point, but the changes need to come in the form of better matchmaking that doesn't match you with people so far below your skill level so you don't feel like you have to leave. Encouraging leaving, which you would be doing by removing the penalty, is a bad idea.

Could also just try to not leave.
-
Or you can just not leave games

2 RepliesIf you're in a match where losing is a foregone conclusion, just jump off the map or surrender without fighting. It certainly won't take your teammates long to die.
-
You could just not leave the match. Or if you're so fed up with matchmaking just make a team. The quitter penalties are there for a reason.
-
I assume my teammates are always bad, because psychological it'll put me on my A game

If you're solo queuing comp or trials (or anything for that matter) you should assume you MUST carry if you want to win. You can't climb consistently in comp or string wins together in Trials unless you intend to be the difference maker. Playing with this mentality leaves you less disappointed because you aren't expecting anything from blueberries or pleasantly surprised when you get competent teammates Also, don't leave comp or trials. Take the L or sweat out the win

You might like to form your own fireteam with “qualified” players. Taking some initiative would solve your problem, and Bungie wouldn’t give you a timeout for it: unlike what happens when players have a temper tantrum and quit on their match-made team.

Mean I feel the same way about games but I'll happily take the 30 min break from bots if I'm getting to the point of being annoyed. Either accept the break or keep carrying that's how it is in solo que sadly. 🤷
