Like you CLEARLY cut down on servers for D2 for cost efficiency, following the revenue foucus trend we've been seeing.
We had connection issues forever now because you significantly reduced resources for D2 and the "fix" you provide is putting us into a massive queue every single patch day.
I INSTANTLY download the newest patch and yet have to sit in queue for 30-60 minutes every single patch. It is unacceptable. You ask for 100+ bucks every single year. Invest it back into the games infrastructure for once instead of pushing your upcoming mobile game and other cash grabs.
Getting less and less motivated to play this game even for that 1 weekly hour these days. Horrible horrible company these days...

13 RepliesGames dying but there's a queue every Tuesday. Game is doing fine lol

Do you have any idea how expensive potatoes and copper wires are?
-
2 RepliesAdding more servers is a waste of time when your network topology is inferior and outdated. The hybrid P2P system crumbling is whats causing connection issues.
-
I agree. It seems to get worse every time and I don't have a lot of free time to play so having these issues is very frustrating. We've paid enough money to at least have stable and suitable servers haven't we?
-
Might be paying customers, but certainly aren't intelligent ones if you think more of the same thing fixes the problem. More servers utilizing the same software isn't going to fix the problem.

3 RepliesEdited by Wheelaa1: 7/19/2023 11:49:04 AMMore servers won't change the three biggest issues with the game. Bungo are lazy. They have a stated desire to not overdeliver. They make / work / plan the game around their workshy wear-PJs-to-work lackadaisical attitude. Bungo are greedy and firmly routed in the price first quality second mentality. Really it's more price first, quality who gives a flying f*** mentality. Bungo are woefully incompetent, and likely the tripe they serve up is the best they can do. Combine all three, game and dev are joke, a disgrace, a greed driven lazy dress fest of crap designed solely to fleece morons. Tl/dr - pathetic dev.

They don’t care man!

Getting less and less motivated to play this game even for that 1 weekly hour these days.
Good. Do something else with your life instead of sitting around waiting for their doors to open. It's not a theme park.

You WERE a paying customer, right up until you prepaid for seasons in advance. Now you're just a squatter to them

"Access to more servers can now be bought in the Eververse...Cheers!" -- Bungie

Good luck with these greedy 🤡

They do. They’re ready to go….. for Marathon
-
Just quit, delete your account and move on

Correction…you’ve paid already and it’s all in the small print . You are nothing to Bungie just a mere pawn ….number . It’s not going to change . It doesn’t matter though because you will keep playing 🤷🏼♂️

Was in the middle of doing the dungeon last night and at the same time I got kicked for a beaver error and my buddy got kicked for ant eater error. So annoying.

More servers would increase the performance, of completing the task of log in. The costs vary from $50 to $200 by month, depending on moderate to modern hardware. The numbers I mentioned are to give you an idea. But I've also seen offers for much less, also depending on size of an order.

1 ReplyAt a moment when they throw the exact same event of last year, yet asking players to pay the cost of The Dark Below for some cosmetics attached to it, you believe Bungie will invest anything into the game? I have news for you, the next 18months of this game are all ready for deployment. The interns who worked on it are now in these forums and on their favorite bot platform defending this lame company. When my American friends tell me: oh they’re from Seattle, what do you expect, now I understand.
-
Ah patch day. The day to see what they broke. What? Logging in is broken? That was quick. Sigh…
-
BUMP that. You Bungie Should Listen To This. These people have had enough Of the Super subpar servers. ADD MORE servers if you want are money for Final Shape. These good People are not married to you. They will just play something else & move on from Destiny & Marathon. Pull your head out of your back side & fix the game so you will have customers for Marathon. This is easy to figure out For Gamers. What are you Bungie?

2 RepliesEdited by TheShadow: 7/18/2023 10:13:31 PMYou get what you pay for, and looking at what they have been offering It isn't much at all. If you want better service go find another game because this is the best it's going to get. I don't get why people expect more from this business when they are telling you, people, to your face that they might as well smack it so you wake up. They are done with this game so what part of that don't you understand?

10 RepliesBungie: Your “Paying Customer” status means nothing when we have $3.6 Billion and our political motives to push.
-
Too late for more servers. Bungie wouldn’t invest that much time and money on something that is nearing its end. It would only work if they expanded this game’s universe by releasing a new game that revolves around the current ones history.
-
More? They don’t have servers at this point lol

4 RepliesHonestly, one of the greatest issues we've been encountering, THIS SEASON, is that their model for "overworld experience" is heavily demanding that we have a "rAnDoM eXpErIeNcE" when we break atmo... that means we leave and rejoin... OFTEN... and in-turn pings the -blam!- out of their already limited server infrastructure - ultimately causing instability. While "adding more servers" could help, it would otherwise be a [couple] stitch(es) in an otherwise gaping wound. However, I agree that they should do more to address their clear and obvious Network Infrastructure problems.
