Same impact as a High Impact frame with ⅔ of the charge time. The kind of "duck bill" shotgun reminiscent spread would be great for ad clear and larger bosses.
Base DPS values are great for a fusion, the only true flaw is that the perks on it are absolutely PvP oriented. If Coriolis Force even just had Vorpal or Reservoir Burst on it I'd probably include it in my arsenal
I'd love to see Aggressive Frame fusions get one more shot in the sandbox with better perks, maybe even just with an update to Coriolis Force's perks. If I could build Coriolis myself I'd say Full Choke/Liquid Coil/Overflow/Reservoir Burst would be peak combo

Aggressive Frame fusions are strange, because Bungie usually tries to support new archetypes, but they made Corolius Force and completely abandoned the archetype, like Nope!!!, never made another one , in 3 years -
1 ReplyThe spread pattern just makes it a bit more niche than other fusions. Aggressives will probably never be good in pvp. You're right though, coriolis force is a beast against the right enemy types in pve- in particular if you have shielded servitors or minotaurs to deal with. Just wish there was a way to tighten that spread by just a few degrees though to make it a bit more usable at mid-range

I take my Coriolis and Cerberus into PvP. I think it's fun to beat people using the worst weapons in the game.

1 Replyslap discord and one for all on it, or cumpulsive loader and volt shot. invent a new origin perk for the gun archetype that tightens the spread if you are standing in a team of six guardians doing dps, add in controlled burst and i am happy.

Edited by AppleSoda: 7/17/2023 3:06:36 PMYeah. This gun is one of the ones they could’ve made totally meta defining but it gets destroyed by its mediocre perk pool. It’s archetype will never be good in PvP, so it’s strange to give it primarily PvP perks. I know they don’t really like this archetype (I recall them basically disowning it in a blogpost, I think shortly before Delicate Tomb came out) but I do hope it gets some love. Would be a great DPS option in close ranges while not completely treading on other fusions due to its horrible spread making it nearly unusable at longer ranges. I hope their revamping of the Double Fire Hand Cannon archetype is a sign of renewed interest in these forgotten archetypes.

13 RepliesEdited by xbroggiex: 7/17/2023 2:28:02 PMLoaded Question already does a lot more especially since it can also be Adept. Accelerated Coils(-40ms) + Overflow + Controlled Burst(-10% charge time, +20% damage) + CTMW(-40ms) + Enemy spec(+7% damage) or if you want to can run Adept Charge Time which is another -40ms. Ultimately unless the weapon got those perks and was craftable loaded question will just slap it around. As for Res Burst its only really good for ad clear as you'd take CB for damage.

18 RepliesWe only have 2 of them. Coriolis force and delicate tomb. If it got better perks that gun type would be good.

1 ReplyEdited by Daemon White: 7/16/2023 12:29:30 AMI specifically grinded for a max range Coriolis Force for PvP. Is it a great gun? No But is it funny as hell to blast someone out with it? Yes :) Aim for the shoulders. Full Bore, Projection Fuse, Moving Target, Rangefinder + Range Masterwork. 3 months for the 5 out of 5 all-range godroll. Alas, I am not a dedicated PvP player and it's my meme gun, so my kills are only at 166 currently.

They got abandoned for glaives. No over-delivery here.

16 RepliesCoriolis is not good in pve. Especially with rapids the way they are. Sorry, but this gun is absolute garbage.
-
2 RepliesThat gun is only good for crowd control but special weapons shouldn’t really used for that purpose so I’m glad aggressives got discontinued.
-
I actually like them but you could tell bungie gave up before they even got a chance to shine. If CF had had some good damage perks or add clear perks, it could have been meta for pve. Then they buffed all the fusions except aggressive fusions. Which made it pointless since rapid fire was better. Honestly, they just need to add 1-2 more bolts to the burst and tighten up the bolt spread when ads by 20-30%, plus give it some good perks like vorpal and reservoir burst.
-
Most people can’t hit all the bolts on a target.

2 Replies>Coriolis Force good … Lol what
-
1 ReplyI mean it’s ok in pve. Yeah it had good dps on paper but because of how it works you won’t land all bolts unless your in making out with Trevor the hive knight distance But yeah they clearly put a decent amount of dev time to make it, so if the reason why they haven’t made more is because it wasn’t good they could just buff it and make new ones with actually good rolls

6 RepliesWish they would start doing more with these archetypes. Stormchaser would've been a much better exotic than heartshadow (though i am greatfull we can farm for different rolls). Dmt was a great exotic till all the nerfs. Long shadow and the new ritual scout aren't bad, but their perk pools could be better. Coriolis force would be a cool exotic with a unique spread like jotuun or that rapid fire arc one

Excellent weapon against snakes and flatfish

16 RepliesImo a lot of the drive to grind for weapons in pve stems from pvp. That fusion may be decent in pve, but it is 100% trash in pvp. Can't blame them for not making more
-
I completely forgot these exist

Edited by ACROCANTHUS: 7/15/2023 5:59:30 PMI have been saying this for years. We need a new one with good perks and it'll blow everything else out of the water. I'll even take a perk pool refresh on coriolis
