“I hate destiny 2 : LIGHTFALL”
Regardless of all of the Bungie bots that most likely will jump into the comment section and try to say stupid stuff that have NOTHING to do with the points made in the video.
I am posting this link because he makes very valid points… that I agree with.
I love Destiny 2 and I know I’m not the only one that still plays the game but living in frustration because we know it could be MUCH better.
If you haven’t checked out the video and you’re like me I would recommend it.

GM dude was honest - we deliver fast, never mind the quality of it. Is it working? Yes. There is ZERO reason to change anything. Money is there, numbers are there, that is the ONLY thing they care about. We all know that Final Shape will be just more reused assets and reskins, but people will buy anyway. It's the final chapter, it can be whatever, people will still buy it. You can complain all you want, too late now. They've already won and basically cannot even loose at this point, no matter what absolute trash they put out or not.

50 RepliesLightfall of s suffering from two problems: 1. One of the factions that weren’t entirely onboard with Unification of Vision go ahold of the game again. Ratcheting up the “difficulty” while at the same making the game significantly less enjoyable and accessible for the typical player. 2. Essentially getting rid of the progression system was a bad design decision. Like Sunsetting it has exposed the games fundamental flaw: not enough loot. There are basically ten guns to grind for this season…and once you have good versions of these weapons, there isn’t much to play for. Especially as a solo player. So there needs to be a serious course correction. Like vanilla D2, Bungie tried to fix what wasn’t broken.

This is on the community, you literally got what you deserve, pay for a mess you get a mess, simple logic really... but a huge part of the problem is the business streamer buddies that they rely on that have their groupies following them around praising people that little can flip on a dime to go one way or the other to make that buck. I don't give rats... what any streamer says, they are a major problem as to why the game is a mess. Hey, let's take ideas from the community and pretend it was my idea to make a buck, pretty cool, huh?!

1 ReplyI will watch and edit this post with a response to the video (if I have anything worth saying) In the meantime though. I learned I didn’t actually love destiny. I loved having a cooperative experience with friends. Destiny was just an easy platform for that.

Lightfall was fun. All the areas with strand felt fresh because strand was fresh. It felt good. With that being said, Lightfall ruined my trust in Bungie. I was not expecting another Witchqueen. That was a separate narrative with a different goal in mind. It’s like comparing Thor Ragnorok to Guardian V3. Both movies are beloved, but serve separate purposes. That along with all the quality of life updates, I was not expecting freshness to the campaign. Some of the same old. That’s the lowest my expectations were. With that being said, I thought it was going to be an infinity war, and there were multiple people making up leaks about the story (a personal favorite I heard was that there were going to be multiple fronts of battle, but the disciples would turn in upon themselves with the witness reviving Nezerac to kill Zivu, and us killing Calus, along with Eramis possibly joining the good team.) it only built my hype for the expansion. I was expecting a city under siege by the Worm Gods. I was expecting extravagant things, yet it feel flat. The story was a dud and left a sour taste in my mouth. There is one thing that gives me hope. It felt like half a story. I’m hoping that with half the story being told, we will get more story as a result, and possibly a more expansive story in Final Shape. That is my hope, but that is not what I think will happen.

Pretty sure he is giving a performance. I enjoyed it for the style of criticism rather than the criticism. I am very disappointed with LF for several reasons. I didn't need his help to know it or to know why. He hates everything, so what, the way he expresses it is entertaining. Bet his critique of movies is hilarious.

Every dlc gets hype for few month than it go's down alway wait 2 to 3 month before deciding buying it
