The navigator drop rate is awful
I've completed the dungeon 45 times (3 or 4 catalyst runs to "help" others get it completed) , and still nothing. I know that once per character per week are the only chances i have to get it to drop, but by the time I get it, the new season will be here.

It's still abysmal to this day. Over 50 completions and I don't have it. Got my first cloak at 48ish so that's cool.

2 RepliesWe see posts like this with every single raid or dungeon drop. Why tf do you guys still frickin give these devs your valuable time? Its a rigged gacha system. Made to waste your time. The more you play, the worse your drop rates are. Its a proven fact. Bungie did test the waters with quest exos from raids and dungeons but saw that people didnt waste enough of their life time flipping the coin 3 times every single week. Thats why we still have abysmal rng exo drops from those activities. To milk our playtime. Easy as that. Wake up...

I think I had 40-50 looted clears before I got the Duality sword. Dsc was a lot too.

It's like so lopsided. There needs to be drop protection. I actually got my first one today. Then on another character I got my second one today. Nuts.

Took me about 23 chances per character for me to get it to drop. It was worth the RNG pain though as a Warlock

The perk just gives you woven mail. You don't even need to shoot allies to proc it

I tried telling him there was a reason nobody used Necrochasm, he didn’t care. I’ll try telling you, it’s an ok gun but not worth the stress you’re putting yourself through. It’s not very practical, yes it’s cool you can give ppl woven mail but it doesn’t last that long and most ppl have their own way of protection with their own subclass. It’s also going to take a hit when the artifact mods change because they’re helping it with unraveling rounds and increased damage to unraveling rounds.

Find people who need to do the catalyst and help them with their catalyst run.

I feel you. The exact same thing happened to me with the bow from Spire. Didn't get it until Lightfall started.

You do realize about 20 give or take runs would have given you a chance for the exotic right?

If you run the dungeon with someone who has the gun you can do an extra mechanic at certain spots in the dungeon completing all 3 rewards the Navigator a catalyst and everyone else a drop rate increase.

After getting my Solo Flawless completion for their respective Dungeons, I obtained each Exotic after precisely two subsequent solo looted clears with four of the five RNG improving Triumphs active (Solo Clear, Flawless Clear, Solo Flawless Clear, and find all the lore objects) in each case. Just an odd coincidence that I have to assume will not continue through to the next Dungeon given the probabilities involved. (΄◉◞౪◟◉｀)
