CORRUPTED STRIKE RELICS
Ahem!
For those of you who don't know about how the Relics work in the 'Corrupted' Strike, here's the thing...
Pick up the 'Relic' and throw it to an ally to increase its power against the unbreakable taken shields.
If u pick the relic up and just throw at the white shields it does minimal damage whereas if u throw a charged relic, it busts the shields open in one and does splash damage to nearbys.
If someone picks the relic up, face them to receive it. If they don't throw it to u, then they don't kwtd.
If u have the relic, look for a guardian at the ready. If none do they're also 9+10.
Sorry for the lecture but it's a bit annoying there are still so many who don't know so I wrote this to... well... assist I suppose.

It’s funny how many people still can’t figure out this GM. Another issue I see is people trying to melt the dark-side ogre before the champions are dead! Or they’ll waste time on the light-side adds instead of getting rid of the light-side ogre after killing the first Unstoppable.

3 RepliesIt hardly matters in non GM...and if you're in GM you should really be talking with each other or typing in chat... And the majority of ppl that frequent the forum will know this, you need to get the message to the other 99% of players..

As often as it is the NF everyone should know. Seems like every other week. So often I'm not the worst fireteam member...... sometimes. Now that it won't raise my number it doesn't matter anyway.

1 ReplyDid a Hero yesterday with random Guardians just for fun, and the others didnt know what to do. Had to stand infront of them to trow the ball, because they didnt catch them from a distance. That didnt work either, because they didnt know what to do with it. No communication so you cant explain what to do, so i left. Did them on GM difficulty so i thought Hero wil be a breeze, man was i mistaken. Going to give it another go this evening, see what that brings. Maybe do the Corrupted omelet, because there isnt mutch to do. 77 clanmembers almost no one online anymore thanks to all the changes Bungie made 🤷♂️

Edited by whiskeychaser: 7/13/2023 1:17:04 PMIf you revive someone while you're holding an orb, you can throw it to them when they pop in. They can't help but catch it. The real dumb ones just end up throwing it at a psion, but maybe they'll eventually get it.

I would just double check with the fireteam beforehand that they know, outside a GM it doesn’t even matter

I don’t even bother throwing it to someone - half the time they don’t even know what to do with it when they have it after I throw it to them

Pointing this out has been a thing with do gooders for a long time. Throw the ball, throw the ball. When someone in a regular strike tells me to throw the ball I want to pour syrup on them and let the ants have their way. However on heroic and up I also wish everyone would throw and catch the ball because otherwise it either takes forever or time actually runs out. So I guess it's just a matter of accepting that people play the game the way they are going to play and I am powerless to change that. LFG and a headset or pour syrup on yourself it seems.

This happens in Blind Well also, with that one final boss. Like… there are four blueberries running around and not one knows what to do.
