Wicked implement catty
Drops from T7 chest in deep dives. Just dropped for all 3 members.
PSA. I can’t confirm, but multiple reports state that it CAN also drop from T5 and up but not a guaranteed drop like the T7 chest.

30 RepliesOK, let me see if I get this straight. The weapon drops in a deep dive side mission. But the catalyst is done on the normal Deep dive, But a tier 6 or 7 is needed, and no one saw this as a problem?

Gun with the catalyst isn’t impressive at all. Definitely needs some type of rework.

Neat. I'm looking at giving up on getting it. Tier 7 is a pain and a half to get to, along with being just as mid and unworth the difficulty as getting the scout itself. Another week another failure of Bungo nothing new.

You can still get it from below Tier 7. I was running Deep Dives with an LFG team last night, first clear we got to Tier 5 and me and one other guy got it. I think the higher the Tier, the more likely you are to get it.

13 RepliesEdited by Griever: 7/12/2023 7:31:30 PMSo, a trash catalyst for a trash-med weapon, said catalyst can only be obtained at the highest tier in an activity almost no one likes and even fewer care to/ can increase the tiers to 7, it cannot be joined in progress, meaning if anyone disconnects or leaves that it's a wipe, and they release it during Attrition week at the same time as IB, so even fewer are playing it. Bungie, if you ever see this, I want you to repeat this back to me and see if it still makes sense to you when you say it. This isn't a dungeon or raid, a well coordinated LFG shouldn't basically be mandatory, especially when the catalyst in collections doesn't specify that you need to reach a specific tier.

If the catalyst actually allowed it to do shatter damage after a certain amount of shots or give it a rapid hit effect where instead of accuracy we get a damage boost(maybe like 10%) then it would be worth getting. Overflow is useless without those effects, why do you think ppl like overflow firing line or OF and explosive payload because they are getting something along with more ammo. A slowing effect is okay but slowing does near nothing on bosses unless it can lead to shatter. Please disregard this if I'm completely wrong and it does shatter, I just the got the weapon and shoved in the vault after I got the lore so I haven't used it much. Now if it doesn't shatter then my opinion still stands.

They should have released the weapon and cata day 1 of this season. I’m out of this game and its drip fed/time gated/drop in a desert approach to game design/content. My friends are like: you not coming back? Nope. Sorry go lfg. Idc anymore. I’m glad Bungie can count on Californians to play this game, they recently went to make up some 70% of the playerbase. Talk about woke. The last ones to see the sun. That’s quite the joke huh.
