I’d be willing to bet if that’s the case it’ll allow you to swap between firing modes and likely give a little extra boost to the slower firing mode.

1 ReplyThere are too many exotic weapons in this game anyway. Most just sit in the vault collecting dust, with or without catalysts. Getting catalysts now is a chore rather than a fun pursuit for something that will give an edge.

They should release more than 1 because so many lack a catalyst but what ever. Just another gun to get the catalyst then put it back in my vault.

7 RepliesOkay, it got a chuckle out of me, but seriously, no. It should be Thorn or Last Word, they said it was going to be a "highly requested and complicated catalyst", and there are basically no weapons that fit both. Probably the 3 most highly requested are the aforementioned hand cannons and Wavesplitter, which should've had one long before the orb rework. As for complicated? Unless that weapon is getting an alternate mode that completely changes it like using the bayonet on Monte Carlo (which has not been requested nearly as much or as long as the others), I fail to see how it can be any more complicated than the LoW, Ager's, Vex, or Cerberus. Besides, Wavesplitter aside, Thorn alone has been passed up on several perfect opportunities, so has Last Word, and we've known about the (likely) effects for those two for years.
