Does Centrifuse mean Necrochasm will never return (at least as it was in D1)

They are both arc autos, which cause arc explosions on precision kills. Given Crota may return as the reprised raid next season, I thought this would be something interesting to discuss. If Necrochasm did return, I feel it should return in the kinetic slot just like the other weapons of sorrow. I think its exotic perk should be updated so that landing rapid hits applies the corruption poison and precision kills, creating an arc explosion (on par with firefly) that spreads the corruption to enemies damaged by the explosion. Then, for the 2nd perk, it could be similar to meganeura. Rapidly landing precision hits within 5 seconds (which refreshes with every precision hit) increases the explosion size and damage. Base would have an aoe of 8 meters and a damage of 150, after 5 crits it increases the aoe to 10m and the damage to 200. After 10 crits, the aoe goes to 15m, and the damage ramps up to 250. Finally, after 15 crits, the aoe goes to 20m, and the damage goes to 300. Finally, for the catalyst, applying the corruption poison to enemies causes the weapon to trickle reload just like reconstruction. This is just my thoughts as I feel it would make Necrochasm feel true to its OG self, but updated. It's perks would make it useful in both upper and lower pve and pvp.
